ISRMAX has emerged as technology and innovation platform to serve the entire agricultural value chain. In addition to ISRMAX Asia 2013, which focuses on rice, sugar and maize, ISRMAX Horti & Agri Asia 2013 has been launched for the development of fruit, vegetable and flowers industry. The show will take place at Hall 5-6 IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre, Bangkok, Thailand from 15th – 17th August 2013.
Following the success of ISRMAX Asia which focuses on sugar, rice and maize industry, IMPACT Exhibition Management (IMPACT) and PIXIE Consulting Solutions Limited (PIXIE) launched ISRMAX Horti & Agri Asia by adding technology and innovation for horticultural, floricultural and agricultural industry. The brand ISRMAX has now emerged as the technology and innovation platform to serve the entire value chain of Thailand’s as well as ASEAN’s agricultural industry. It is also timely as the region is preparing itself for AEC. The show will take place at Hall 5-6, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre, Bangkok, Thailand from 15th – 17th August 2013.
Thai agriculture industry continues to grow. The country is in a bid to regain the top rice exporters. 2013 rice production is expected to stand at 9.167 million tons, of which 8 - 8.5 million tons will be exported. For sugar industry, Thailand will comfortably maintain its position as the second largest sugar exporters. The country’s sugarcane production is expected at 90 million tons while sugar export will be around 9 million tons in 2013. Other agricultural sectors such as fruit, vegetable and flower are also doing well both for domestic consumption and export. Thailand’s annual export value for flower is around THB. 3–4 billion while fruit and vegetable export is estimated to hit THB. 94 billion in the year 2013.
ISRMAX Asia 2013, which focuses on rice, sugar and maize industry and the newly launched ISRMAX Horti & Agri Asia 2013, the international exhibition and conference on horticulture, floriculture and agriculture will be the perfect platform to serve Thailand’s growing agricultural industry in all sectors. To date, up to 60% of exhibited space at ISRMAX Asia 2013 and ISRMAX Horti & Agri Asia 2013 has been booked and reserved by both local and international companies including international pavilion from China, France, India, Japan and Vietnam. The shows have also gained full supports from both government and private organizations.
IMPACT and PIXIE have launched pro-active marketing campaign since January 2013 to ensure that ISRMAX Asia 2013 and ISRMAX Horti & Agri Asia 2013 will have another successful edition in 2013. More marketing activities in pipeline included road shows in Thailand’s major agricultural zones and CLMV countries to bring in more target buyers and decision makers to the shows. The organizers are confident that ISRMAX Asia 2013 and ISRMAX Horti & Agri Asia 2013 will meet the combined target of 13,500 sq.m exhibit area; 400 exhibiting brands and companies; and 5,000 trades visitors from Thailand and overseas.
