HONG KONG -(ASIA TODAY)- To cope with the increasing demands of intelligent and green building in Northern China, the Beijing International Building Technology conference will be held from 8 – 9 April 2013 at the New China International Exhibition Center, Beijing, China. The annual event will be led by a series of conferences and is facilitated by a display area focused on the development of intelligent HVAC control, energy-saving management as well as smart home systems. Conducted by some of the industry’s most influential leaders, the conference will be geared toward facilitating thought-provoking discussions on energy saving solutions to professionals including architects, contractors, property owners and developers.
Mr Richard Li, Deputy General Manager of Messe Frankfurt in China said: “We developed the Beijing event due to recent proposals by China’s Central Government in the 12th Five-Year plan to make a “capital economic circle” across the areas of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. This government initiative ultimately intends to boost regional development which, we believe, provides the perfect atmosphere for the rise in intelligent and green buildings in Northern China. With Messe Frankfurt’s established and highly popular portfolio of building technology fairs in China, I have great confidence that the Beijing event will provide coverage on one of the country’s fastest growing regions.”
Event aims to highlight key opportunities and in-demand solutions as Beijing sets new energy efficiency goals
As property development continues to increase across China, the Central Government has continued to make a bigger push for stronger energy efficiency in buildings. A recent initiative can be found in Beijing, where starting in 2013, new energy efficiency design standards were implemented for all new residential properties. The nation’s capital aims to set a 75 percent energy efficiency standard in all new residential developments for the foreseeable future.
Beijing’s new energy efficiency standards can be met in several ways. Two of the most crucial components for reaching the standards are the uses of state-of-the-art electrical engineering and home automation technology. According to the Beijing Statistics Bureau, Beijing’s building industry is currently worth over USD 42 billion. Due to this immense value and the rapid development of building projects, numerous opportunities will become available for suppliers catering to the intelligent green building sector. Attendees to the Beijing International Building Technology conference will have the chance to learn more about these opportunities, and then discover the latest innovations in intelligent building and smart home systems that the conference’s speakers and participating suppliers have to offer.
Influential speakers and organisations will lead thought-provoking discussions through insightful forums
Beijing International Building Technology was designed as a professional high-quality conference, focused on addressing the needs and available solutions to Northern China’s booming property development market. As such, the event will bring together some of the industry’s key players to offer a series of discussions on topics including green building and energy-saving technology, the integrated application of solar thermal technology, intelligent building standards as well as electrical engineering and energy-saving technologies. For its inaugural event, confirmed sessions include:
2nd China Green Building and Energy Conservation Technology Forum
Co-organised with Beijing Qingshang Environmental Art & Architectural Design Institute, this forum highlights the concepts and practical application of green building and energy saving technology, in respect to building design. The forum further discusses the integration of modernised building designs with HVAC control and intelligent building technology.
BACnet Intelligent Building Technology Standards Working Group Press Conference
The Press Conference highlights the development of BACnet technology standards and introduces BACnet Intelligent Building Technology Standards Working Group. It is aimed at media professionals and key industry players interested in intelligent building and HVAC control development.
KNX International Building Automation and Energy Management Technology Forum
Co-organised with the KNX Association, the forum is designed to showcase innovative solutions in HVAC control and energy management systems. Targeted attendees for this forum include electrical contractors, architects, building engineers, system integrators, energy-saving companies, property owners and developers.
Application of Building Integrated Solar Thermal Technology
Co-organised with the Special Committee of Solar Buildings, CRES, the forum will focus on the integrated application of solar thermal technology in buildings and aims to introduce developments in solar thermal technology for heating and ventilation systems.
Beijing International Building Technology is the sister show of Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology and Shanghai Intelligent Building Technology. The fair is held concurrently with ISH China & CIHE, the International Trade Fair for Sanitation, Heating, Ventilation & Air-Conditioning. Together, the two shows will occupy more than 80,000 sqm, and over 900 exhibitors and 38,000 professional visitors are expected.
Beijing International Building Technology is organised by Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd and is headed by the biennial Light + Building event in Frankfurt with the following building technology events in China:
• Beijing International Building Technology
8 – 9 April 2013
• Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology
