ERE 2013 draws broad attention and support from home and abroad

The emergency rescue industry is drawing more attention when the world faces ever more disasters, natural and man-made.

BEIJING, April 8, 2013 - An increasing number of organizations and enterprises have vowed supports for or decided to participate in Beijing International Emergency Rescue Expo (ERE China ) 2013 event. Amongst the new event supporters are State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters; National Security and Emergency Rescue Command Center; Equipment & Finance Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, P.R. China; China Marine Search and Rescue Center; China Offshore Oil Spill Emergency Center. These organizations will actively use their resources to back up the event and in turn the participation of the industry leading companies will further boost the Chinese peoples’ capability in dealing with various disasters and emergency rescue missions.

The International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) will hold a US pavilion at ERE 2013 and a French company has decided to participate as exhibitor, as reported on March 8, 2013. IAEM is the largest and most influential organization promoting the importance of emergency management and those professionals who are committed to saving lives, protecting property and the environment during emergencies and disasters. Co-siting IAEM's Asia Annual Meeting with ERE China will surely bring together key senior level managers from around the world.

According to Ellis Stanley , Global Chairman of IAEM, "IAEM has been active in China for several years and continues to expand its membership base and outreach in Asia. ERE provides a platform to continue to grow IAEM education, training, and networking resources, with the Certified Emergency Manager designations (CEM and AEM) soon to follow. We believe ERE is an important conference and exhibition for companies from around the globe to participate in."
