The 7th edition of Texcare Asia continues to receive strong interest from some of the industry’s top companies. Being held in China’s financial hub from 19 – 21 November at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, buyers and industry professionals will have the opportunity to discover the latest technologies and solutions in textile care. Approximately 150 exhibitors are anticipated at the biennial event in 2013, utilising more than 11,500 sqm of space to showcase laundry, dry-cleaning, ironing and dyeing machinery as well as textile management systems. Over 8,000 professional buyers involved in these aforementioned areas as well as laundromat franchises and distribution are expected to attend.

A number of returning exhibitors have increased their support with bigger booth space at the 2013 show. Jiangsu Sea-Lion Machinery Group, one of the long term exhibitors at Texcare Asia, will return this year with more than 300sqm of exhibition space. Fellow domestic supplier, Kunshan Yingelan Commercial Laundry Equipments, has booked more than double the space they used at the 2011 edition. Other returning exhibitors with bigger booth spaces include Alliance Laundry Systems, Castic-SMP, JENSEN Group, Kannegiesser, Primus, Sailstar, Sankosha and etc.

Speaking on the rising demand for booth space at the show, Mr Jason Cao, Senior General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd noted: “Both international and domestic brands are starting to see not only the rise in demand for textile care products in China but also the quality of professional buyers who attend this show. Domestic exhibitors understand that buyers are looking for their quality and cost-effective products. In fact, some of our returning exhibitors have made stronger commitments to the show with bigger booths. This shows that the business and the overall market in China and Asia for local textile care suppliers are considerably increasing year after year.”

A number of internationally recognised companies will make their debuts to the Chinese market at Texcare Asia 2013. Tolon Laundry Machines, a 76-year supplier to the textile care industry is one of them. Specialising in full service solutions for industrial washers, dryers, ironing and folding machines, the Turkish company intends to showcase their latest washer extractors as well as towel folder at Texcare Asia.

“We decided to exhibit because to us, Texcare Asia is the most important event for the region’s laundry and dry-cleaning industry. Tolon’s commercial laundry products are utilised in a number of facilities, including hotels, military units, hospitals, schools and restaurants. We currently have distribution in more than 32 countries across four continents. With the textile care business getting stronger in China, we believe our trusted industry brand will be highly welcomed in the Chinese market”, said Mr Omer Tolon, General Manager of Tolon Laundry Machines.

With more than thirty years experience in the industry, Jiangsu Sea-Lion returns to the 2013 show to launch its latest collection of integrated tunnel washers, washer extractors, dryers, ironers and folding machines to domestic and overseas buyers. Mr Chen Hong, Chairman of the company expressed: “Texcare Asia provides an effective platform for showcasing our latest products to buyers both from China and abroad. The fair also gives us the chance to meet other manufacturers and learn about the latest technologies. It’s a remarkable show which I believe truly benefits and strengthens the laundry and dry-cleaning industries.”

Fellow returning exhibitor, Alliance Laundry Systems, also plans to unveil its latest Speed Queen Controls and OPTidry dryers for China’s commercial market at the fair. Ms Kitty Zhang, Regional Sales Manager noted: “Our company has been in the textile care industry for over 100 years. We return to Texcare Asia to reaffirm our growing commitment to the Asia Pacific region. Each year, the show continues to impress us with the number of quality exhibitors and visitors. Our goal is to help textile care providers maximise their revenue while reducing operational costs. I’m sure the 2013 fair will provide some great business opportunities for us.”

Internationally-acclaimed brand, BÖWE Textile Cleaning GmbH has been producing quality textile care products to buyers in Europe and the Americas for more than half a century. However the company is just starting to get recognised in the Chinese market. Speaking on their goals for China, Mr Frank Ziermann, Managing Director of BÖWE, exclaimed: “We needed a platform to build exposure for our brand in China, and Texcare Asia seemed to be the best choice for us. We plan to showcase our state-of-the-art multi-solvent dry cleaning machines and M series drying cleaning machines at the fair and look forward to gaining new customers. I believe the show will provide some great business opportunities.”

For exhibitor Kunshan Yingelan Commercial Laundry Equipments, returning to Texcare Asia was an easy decision due to their success at previous editions. Commenting for the company, Mr Lin Ching Kuo, Deputy General Manager said: “Texcare Asia is one of the largest and most professional events highly sought-after by the textile care industry. Our company will return for the 2013 edition to present the latest Agile Manufacturing Washing System (AMS) to the industry professionals. The show has been an effective platform for us in terms of promotion, getting more orders as well as learning about key industry trends. We greatly look forward to our participation in the 2013 edition.”
