Muscat, Oman, 21 May 2013—Leading food and hospitality companies from Kuwait will be part of the 8th Food & Hospitality Oman, which is scheduled to take place from September 2 to 4 at the Oman International Exhibition Center. These companies, which will come under the banner of the Public Authority for Industry (PAI) of Kuwait, will be participating as a pavilion for the first time in Oman’s biggest food and hospitality show.
PAI is an autonomous authority under the supervision of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, responsible for developing, promoting, and supervising the industrial activity in Kuwait. Its participation in Food & Hospitality Oman underlines its aims to increase the Kuwaiti industrial exports share in the international markets, creating export and investment opportunities, and improving the competitiveness of Kuwaiti food and beverage exports to adhere to international standards.
Ammar Ahmad, Exhibition manager for Food & Hospitality Oman says “Oman is becoming an important market, offering various opportunities and an easy gateway for international companies to enter the Oman market. It is definitely a good platform for Kuwaiti companies to introduce and promote their products and services and we expect to see more beneficial returns for all our exhibitors.”
As organizer Omanexpo continuously seeks to bolster international participation for each show edition, this positive response from a booming regional market sets the stage for an even-more successful Food & Hospitality Oman 2013. This show will once again enjoy the support of companies from Italy, Pakistan, Jordan, India, Egypt and Sri Lanka. This is the result of boosted efforts to ensure increased international visibility in a country that is emerging as one of the fastest-growing markets in the region, and where billion-dollar hotel and resort development and infrastructure projects are underway.
As is the fine custom started in 2005, Food & Hospitality Oman 2013 will bring in leading names in the food and beverage, catering and kitchen equipment, food processing technologies, ingredients and seasonings, hospital equipment and supplies and services, and packaging systems into direct contact with the decision makers and other industry professionals from all trade segments. Another commitment to continuously improve the exhibitor and visitor experience is a diversity of modern products and services.
