23 May 2013 – More than 120 exhibitors will take part in HKTDC Entrepreneur Day, 31 May-1 June, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).
The two-day event, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), will showcase business opportunities and support services for entrepreneurs.
Making Magic
Highlights of this fifth edition will include some 20 seminars and feature the business stories of a variety of successful entrepreneurs. They include Danny Yeung, CEO of Groupon Hong Kong, Raymond Li, CEO of The Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Ltd and Stark Chan, Founder of Bull.B Tech.
Participating organisations will offer the latest information on start-up funding, incubation programmes, franchising, business intermediaries, online business, accounting, legal advice, information technology, marketing and management support and intellectual property.
Connecting Business
“Deal Flow,” new this year, a deal-sourcing and matchmaking session, will feature one-on-one meetings between potential investors and project owners. Another new fair session, “Entrepreneur Arena,” will allow young entrepreneurs to present their business plans in public, with judges and audience members responding to their proposals and ideas.
