Leading brands continue to choose show as their professional trading platform
“Talents” showcase feature latest Asian designs
Interior Lifestyle China continues to be the trade fair of choice for an increasing number of exhibitors wanting to take advantage of the strong Chinese consumer market.
This year’s show, taking place 25 – 27 September 2013 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), Shanghai, China is attracting many renowned Chinese and international exhibitors.
Commenting on behalf of the show organiser Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Ltd, Ms Wendy Wen, Senior General Manager for Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd said: “Among our 300 exhibitors, we are happy to welcome many first time renowned Chinese brands such as ACERA, Excilon and Shibazi. Also making their debut are the international and regional brands KYOCERA (Japan), LOHAS Pottery (Taiwan), Royal VKB (Holland), Tiger (Japan) and Villeroy & Boch (Germany). What’s more, we also have a new China Premiere Supplier Zone featuring quality exhibitors like Zibo Intrue, Pioneer Effort and Tick & Tock.
Although the Dutch brand Royal VKB is making a first appearance at the show, its sister brand BK Cookware has been exhibiting for two years. Ms Jessica Shen, General Manager, BK/Royal VKB says that Interior Lifestyle China is a good show for their products and this year, their woks and chef’s knives designed especially for the Chinese market, will be on show. Ms Shen said: “We can find some good business partners who have existing selling channels to develop our Chinese market. China is a big market and it is still booming. If you think about the customers’ needs and wants, and have some products that can fulfill their needs and wants, then you can have the market.”
Exhibiting for the fifth time is Likuai China, the first Chinese company to enter the imported tableware and household products market. “Interior Lifestyle China is the best high-end household fair in the China market,” said Mr Wayne Xiang, the company’s Managing Director. “We are hoping to find some new partners.”
Ms Susan Pan, President of Tayohya, a Chinese company which distributes quality homewares, also agreed that the show has a good reputation. She commented: “It is the biggest interior products trade fair in China with a high international profile. It is an influential industry event so normally it will attract many professional buyers, therefore it’s a strong promotion channel for our company. For example, the show attracts many exhibitors and buyers from around the world and because of this, Tayohya is able to increase its brand exposure in international markets.” Ms Pan added that the Chinese market is experiencing a strong demand for quality branded interior products.
Leading Chinese cookware and kitchen supplies company OMUDA is exibiting for the second time. Mr Wentao Zhou, the company’s General Manager said: “Interior Lifestyle China is the only professional platform for high-end lifestyle brands and it is important for enhancing brand awareness. The other reason for exhibiting is to know more about the market and to improve our products.”
