The Moscow city’s participation in SEMICON Taiwan 2013 aims to support and promote primary programs the city is implementing to develop the modern and accessible innovative infrastructure, to create conditions for the transfer of technologies and the exchange of experience with foreign partners in the electronics sector, to attract partners and investors.
The core of the exposition will be projects of the most dynamic innovative zones of the city – Special Economic Zone and Cluster ZELENOGRAD, Nanocenter TECHNOSPARK and Technopark STROGINO – as well as scientific products of city startups and scientific and industrial enterprises of the macro-electronic, electronic and IT industries.
NT-MDT Co., a Russian leader in nano-technology instrument making, will present the world’s most compact and functional high-resolution scanning probe microscope for physical and chemical characterization of surfaces.
JSC “Zelenograd Nanotechnology Center” is preparing to present a startup project, the Spiritus installation for electric stimulation of cell culture for the vaccine industry and medicine, electronic hardware and microsystems.
JSC “Epiel”, Russia’s leading producer of epitaxial silicon and silicon on sapphire structures the microelectronic industry uses to make a variety of electronic parts, will also put its products on display.
A specialized educational establishment of the capital city, the Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University), will present an integrated antenna array for positioning and navigation, which ensures the course channel stability and enhances the precision of assessment of other parameters, including instrumental errors of MEMS sensors.
Design Center KM211, one of the leaders on the Russian microchip market, will present unique microprocessor cores which boast an original architecture and outstanding code density and consumption characteristics: 32-bit microprocessors KVARK and KROLIK, a smart card with ISO7816 contact interface and a personal identification chip.
The Moscow-based Nanofin Ltd. will present the results of scientific research on the semiconductor single-crystal structure of indium phosphide. These findings make it possible to reduce crystal production costs by bringing down the percentage of defective products.
The Troitsk-based LLC “CVD. Spark” will present brand new high-tech materials which combine the unique properties of natural diamonds with new options and affordable prices.
The SNOTRA-1 scanning probe nanotomograph to be unveiled by LLC “Snotra” makes it possible to probe into the native 3D nanostructures of biological objects, material, polymers, liquid crystals and nanocomposites at low temperatures.
State Scientific Center of the Russian Federation “Orion” RD&P Association – the only of its kind in Russia – will present photodetector arrays that are used in civilian and special-purpose research projects.
OJSC “Research-Production Enterprise “Kvant”, which meets the needs of the autonomous energy sector, is presenting contemporary autonomous sources of energy and diagnostic equipment: chemical sources of electric energy, multi-purpose photoelectronic systems, thermoelectric generators, sensors, solar batteries and combined power generating units which are widely used in various industries and are part of special equipment.
LLC “EUV Labs” Engineering Company, which supplies engineering solutions for HVM-lithography, will showcase two specially-designed spectrometers that work on the basis of MCP detectors and are used for diagnosing and measuring lithographic processes, and for research purposes.
The Zelenograd-based JSC “Electrontochmash” will present a series of small-size epitaxial units for scientific research, and for monitoring silicon containing reagents, including plants that produce solar and electronic grading polysilicon.
R&D Institute of Precise Mechanical Engineering will hold the presentation of small-size industrial equipment which comes handy in a large number of technological processes involving micro- and nanoelectronic technology, solar energy, and high-capacity rectification plants that purify chloride and hybrid gases to Eb-E7.
A number of Moscow-based enterprises, including JSC “Zelenograd Innovation Technology Center”, Milandr, JSC “Scientific Research Institute “Komponent”, and JSC “Tronic”, will present innovation-based microchip design technology and a number of micro-, nanoelectronics and solar energy projects.
Moscow City delegation members will take part in a broad business program of SEMICON Taiwan 2013, including the SiP international summit, forums and sessions on packaging technologies, MEMS, semiconductors, light diodes, 3D IC and lithography, and visit the first high-tech park in Taiwan, the Hsinchu Science Park.
