Scoot partners with channel M to launch the latest search for the next K-pop star on K-Pop Star Hunt Season 3

ASIA, September 10 2013 – Channel M, FOX International Channels’ (FIC) leading Korean entertainment channel will once again raise the K-Pop audition fever in Asia as its highly successful talent show series, K-Pop Star Hunt gears up for a third season. With Singapore’s fun and friendly low-cost airline, Scoot, coming onboard as the title sponsor, Scoot: K-Pop Star Hunt 3 will bring an extra level of excitement as FNC Entertainment, one of the top-tier music labels in Korea, lends their full support as the official training partner for this 8-part series.

Aspiring hopefuls with outstanding singing and dancing abilities from seven regions; Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand will have the once-in-a-lifetime chance to realise their K-pop dreams and vie for the coveted title as winner of Scoot: K-Pop Star Hunt 3.

Scoot: K-Pop Star Hunt 3 is commissioned by FIC Asia and is produced by the Singapore-based, award-wining television production company, The Moving Visuals Co. The returning talent show-themed series is also part of FIC Asia’s strategy to develop and expand locally relevant returnable series.

Scoot: K-pop Star Hunt 3 will also be conducting auditions in 7 regions across Asia where they will select the 2 most outstanding contestants from each region for further training in Seoul.

The entire audition and training process will be filmed and broadcasted across Asia as a weekly survival reality television programme and is set to premiere in November 2013 on channel M, and simulcast on FOX International Channels’ leading entertainment channels; STAR Chinese Channel, STAR World, and music channel, Channel [V].
