BIFF&BIL 2013 is featured under the theme of "Rhythm of ASEAN" and represents the fashion identity and different lifestyle of people in ASEAN member countries. BIFF&BIL will be a rally for synergy of designers from Thailand, ASEAN countries, and other countries across the world in order to create a new phenomenon in fashion and leather business and consistent network of relating parties in Asia's fashion industry in order to compete in the world arena.
Organized under the fair-in-fair concept, BIFF&BIL 2013 is catering to the needs of exhibitors and visitors alike. About BIFF&BIL
The Bangkok International Fashion Fair & Bangkok International Leather Fair, now popularly known as "BIFF&BIL", is a fashion trade fair for apparel, textile, fashion accessories and leather goods. The yearly extravaganza is organized by Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government.
With the aim of promoting Thai fashion products, from upstream to downstream, to the world, 'BIFF' initially started out as the "Bangkok Ready-To-Wear Fair" when it was first held in 1989, while 'BIL' first made its debut as the "Bangkok Leather Fair" in 1992. With international and ASEAN countries cooperation, the two fairs have been held jointly since 2004, and have become the ASEAN platform for ASEAN fashion.
