On May 6–9, 2014 the doors will be open for Vinordic and GastroNord, Northern Europe's largest trade fairs in HoReCa. This year the fairs are packed with new concepts and are focusing on knowledge. The Bocuse d´Or Europe chef championship will be held simultaneously at Stockholmsmässan.

“We want to create a new Vinordic that has been adapted to the developments in the industry. This year's fair contains many new additions. The goal is to offer visitors more knowledge, which in turn leads to both increased profitability and more satisfied customers," says Daniel Fritzdorf, Event Manager for Vinordic and GastroNord.

One of the new additions is that Vinordic School, which was started in 2012, will be enhanced with more activity bars with different drink themes. There will be a Rosé Bar, Champagne Bar, Beer Bar, Whiskey Bar and a Cocktail Bar with an alcohol-free section. In addition to having the opportunity to taste drinks at the bars, short, inspiring seminars will also be held - to increase the industry's knowledge and service level and thereby also profitability. Vinordic School will also offer advice and guidance tailored to the individual needs of the visitors.

To meet the growing need for being able to offer a professional selection of non-alcoholic drinks, this year's Vinordic has an entirely new section with alcohol-free alternatives.

Thanks to the newly constructed AE Hall covering 10,000 m2, Vinordic can now be in the same hall as GastroNord. In parallel to Vinordic and GastroNord, the Bocuse d´Or Europe chef championship, the world's most prestigious gastronomy competition, will also be held next door in Hall B.

GastroNord and Vinordic are Northern Europe's largest trade fairs for hotels, restaurants, catering and fast food. The fairs are arranged every second year at Stockholmsmässan.
