Dubai – United Arab Emirates, January 22nd 2014: INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions Organization Est. disclosed its agenda for the upcoming season (2014) which includes statistics about the upcoming conferences and exhibitions that shall be held in Dubai, in addition to the positive returns on the economy of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates.
INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions Organization Est – member of INDEX Holding, is a national company that was established in 1991 in Dubai with a vision to host prestigious and unique events which covered diverse industries such as: Healthcare, Medicine, Dental, Pharmaceutical, Beverages and Technologies, Digital and Media Content, Humanitarian Aid and Development, in addition to providing comprehensive and integrated solutions for the events industry in the UAE and the MENSA region
The 2014 agenda for INDEX reveals that the overall number of sessions and workshops which will be presented during the next season will reach 700 courses delivered by 500 international specialists and experts. Moreover, the number of local and international companies and organisations participating in INDEX’s events will exceed 3000 whereas the area reserved for these events will achieve a marked 150,000 square meters of floor space.
Hence, the number of visitors and participants that the conferences are attracting is expected to reach more than 75,000 visitors with participants from more than 130 countries covering all continents; with the reservation of more than 60,000 nights in different hotels of the Emirate. Whereas the participants and visitors are keen to come and benefit from the outstanding courses, sessions and workshops, they will also enjoy their stay in the marvelous Emirate of Dubai thus contributing and supporting the national economy. The report also revealed that the business deals that shall be conducted in the coming events season will touch an estimated record value of $2,5 Billion.
INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions Organization Est. is very keen on sustaining and reinforcing the investment segment in Dubai especially with its specialized conferences and exhibitions (annually 20) which are organized in the UAE and abroad. These prominent annual events are highly recognized, due to the exquisite and strategic position that Dubai and the UAE enjoys in many sectors mainly: industrial, economic and trade, which helped the UAE to possess the highest returns on investment in the world.
Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Chairman of INDEX Holding declared that the conferences and exhibitions organized by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions have positive return on many sectors mainly Health, Economy, Trade and Tourism. These returns contribute to boost the economy and encourage sustainable development in the UAE in addition to improving competencies in private and public sectors and further motivate the national economy.

The first event of the season 2014 is the 18th edition of the UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition – AEEDC Dubai, which is the first and largest dental exhibition in the MENA Region and the 2nd largest worldwide. Throughout the years, AEEDC Dubai became one of the most prestigious and popular events specialized in the dentistry field and its technologies locally and regionally. AEEDC Dubai attracts more than 30,000 dentists and specialists from all parts of the world who come to Dubai every year to expand their knowledge and learn about the latest technologies displayed by more than 1,400 companies. AEEDC Dubai also hosts the “AEEDC International Personality of the Year Award”, a prestigious award recognizing and honoring the great achievements made by individuals in the Dental sector.
Dr. Al Madani also referred to the excellent infrastructure of Dubai and the prestigious position that the emirate enjoys as it is a central hub for hosting prestigious conferences and exhibitions. “The perfect infrastructure and the facilities that Dubai provides for investors also reflects positively on the prosperity of the national economy and promoting medical tourism while encouraging big and renowned companies to take advantage of the booming economic climate of the emirate.”
While AEEDC is the first and largest event this season, INDEX will organise one of the most specialized event as well, the International Family Medicine Conference and Exhibition (IFM) in February. The IFM is organized in cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority and supported by the International Alliance of Family Medicine, the International Hospital Federation and the Anti-smoking society in UK.
During March, INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions Organization Est. will organise: Offshore Arabia Conference and Exhibition, the Dubai International Pharmaceuticals and Technologies Conference and Exhibition, and the International Humanitarian Aid and Development Conference and Exhibition in addition to the International Emergency and Catastrophe Management Conference and Exhibition.
The 14th edition of the Dubai World Dermatology and Laser Conference and Exhibition (Dubai DERMA) will be held in April. Dubai DERMA is organized in cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority, the International Academy of Medical Specialisation, GCC League of Dermatology and the Pan Arab League of Dermatology.
October 2014 will hold the sixth edition of the Big Entertainment Show and the Game Evolution Championship. While in December INDEX concludes its season with the 6th edition of the Dubai Drink Technology Expo, the premier specialized event in the MENA region for the Beverage and Water Technology industry.
Dr. Al Madani added: “The Exhibition primarily facilitates the procurement needs of the regional markets, including the MENA region as well as some parts of Asia. Companies participating at the exhibition will have the chance to reach their potential clients in the region, explore business deals and create partnerships”.
