By every measure, Tank Storage Asia 2013 held at Singapore Expo in December, was a major success. It showcased 80% more exhibitors and attracted 36% more business professionals than last year, with many of the major oil companies such as ExxonMobil, Total and Shell, sending multiple personnel - oil and chemical terminal managers, inspection and maintenance personnel, tank engineers and technicians - to the two day event.

Tank Storage Asia spans the entire tank storage supply spectrum and is now considered the prime opportunity for companies targeting the hugely important Asian market. Indeed the show is so pivotal to the region that it attracted international attendees from a record-breaking 48 countries.

Exhibitors praised the show not just for the quantity of visitors but the quality. Phil Medway, CEO at Medway Corrosion Consultants Pte Ltd said, “Over a month later we are still getting firm inquiries from prospects we met at Tank Storage Asia; proving this is a good value exhibition to be at.”

Mark Winker, International Sales Management at ATREUS, agrees: “The show was bigger than last year which, we much appreciated, but also the quality and frequency of visitors to our stand was even better than previous years. We are looking forward to come back in 2014.”

Tom Yu, General Manager at TTS Corporation explains that the event allows his company to remain at the forefront of the industry, stating: "The show is a great opportunity to network and get a read on the pulse of the market."

Visitor feedback has been equally positive with 98%, when independently surveyed, rating their experience at Tank Storage Asia as good or excellent and 100% declaring that they plan to attend Tank Storage Asia 2014.

Liu Soon Tua, Technical Sales at Denjet Industry Pte Ltd, stated: “I attended Tank Storage Asia this year to find out about the latest products and innovations within the industry, and have been delighted to find lots to inspire me! I will be taking back plenty of ideas to the office, as well as lots of good contacts. I look forward to attending again next year!”

Wanting Ng, Project Engineer from ExxonMobil Asia Pacific was pleased to be in attendance: “My trip here has been very successful, I’ve found lots of new products to extend the life of our equipment and look forward to coming again next year!”

Nong Eric, Sales Engineer at Huntsman concurred, agreed: “I came specifically to attend the conference and keep up-to-date with industry developments; I found it incredibly insightful and provided me with lots of inspiration to apply to my organisation!”

Tank Storage Asia is known for its conference programme. This featured over 25 expert speakers exploring the many economic, technical and safety issues driving the Asian market. This content resonated, with an impressive 93% of all delegates rating the range of topics presented as good or excellent.

easyFairs is now focused on taking Tank Storage Asia to even greater levels as Jake Morrison, Event Manager, Tank Storage Asia, concludes: “Our ambition for this show is always growing. Increasing the exhibitor level by 80% was fantastic, but the long-term vision is to create an even more powerful event - a focal point for the entire industry right across Asia.”
