SIAL WINE WORLD regarded as the Oscars for wine industry in China

Tackling China’s wine market now is like following the laws of gravity. Since the 86th Oscars made Gravity the biggest winner, SIAL WINE WORLD is confident to affirm that joining the show is certainly like a ride on the winning horse. The 4th edition of SIAL WINE WOLRD will take place from 13th – 15th May, 2014 in Shanghai New International Expo Centre, and will be co-located with SIAL CHINA 2014.

Like the Oscars, SIAL WINE WORLD is star studded by elite wine labels, except that walking on the red carpet are the star guests and visitors from wine industry. They must go through the strict registration filter system. By selection and invitation, they become the indispensable part of the show. In 2014, national pavilions of Spain, Greece, South Africa, Germany, Bulgaria, France, Chinaand more will present their biggest stars in the show.

France will be the Guest Country of Honor this year! Sopexa, the organizer of French Pavilion will join SIAL WINE WORLD withmore than 15 French wine exhibitors and Founding Wines. Moreover, Vinitaly will bring Vinitaly International Academy to SIAL WINE WORLD by organizing tremendous top level master classes.

Some of the biggest names in wine industry are often seen in the show. In 2014 events, Best Buy Competition is one of the highlight which should not be missed. Continuing its solid partnership with Wine100, high ranks of judges have confirmed their attendance. There will be more than 300 entries of wines to compete. The awards represent the best value for many wines for professional buyers and consumers. Judges panel includes Mr. Tim Wildman MW, Ms. Fongyee Walker, Mr. Rachel Wang, Mr. Marcus Ford, Mr. Jerry Liao and more.

Wine Innovation Forum is also note-worthy. Mr. James Suckling will take on the stage this year. As one of today’s leading wine critics, his views are read and respected by wine lovers, serious wine collectors, and the wine traders worldwide. He is currently the wine editor for Asia Tatler and its nine luxury magazines in the region, including Hong Kong Tatler, China Tatler, Singapore Tatler, and Thailand Tatler.

According to the Tourism Research Australia, it recently reveals that number of winery visitors from China is increasing dramatically. The proportion of Chinese winery visitors increased and took over the 2nd spot right after UK, and ahead of US, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia. The data confirms that joining SIAL WINE WORLD is definitely the right way to tackle China’s wine market. Otherwise, it’s like fighting the law of gravity.
