SHANGHAI, July 4, 2-14 -( ASIA TODAY )- The organisers of this year’s Interior Lifestyle China, taking place 18 – 20 September at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, China, have announced that the show’s theme will be “Best Time”.
Organised by Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd, Interior Lifestyle China is the only platform in China for middle to high-end lifestyle related products, and is expected to attract 350 exhibitors and 23,000 local and international visitors.
Commenting on the show’s theme, Ms Wendy Wen, Senior General Manager for Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd explained: “Economically, and from a consumer perspective, this is the best of times in China and our ‘Best Time’ theme reflects the increasing interest in the home and lifestyle industry where we are seeing a new emphasis on design and user experience, instead of production. At Interior Lifestyle China, visitors will be able to experience the ‘Best Time’ with our exhibitor’s ‘Best’ products.”
Supporting this year’s show theme will be a series of fringe programme events covering the topics of:
• Brand building and improved promotion
• Brand product display highlighting window design trends and “real life” product demonstrations such as the art of tea making and cooking
• Selling tips for home products, their usage, and the consumer’s emotional experience
Show attracts many first time exhibitors from Italy
As China’s middle class continues to grow, an increasing number of domestic and international companies are keen to establish their brands in China. For example, this year’s Italian pavilion has attracted four new cookware exhibitors. Among the new exhibitors are Alluflon, Biemme Group, Carlo Giannini, and Guardini.
Alluflon will be displaying its best selling Berndes and Moneta brands. “China is one of the fastest developing markets in the world at the moment,” said company representative Ms Nicoletta Bruni. “We are exhibiting at the show to have contact with new markets and clients.”
The Biemme Group first heard about Interior Lifestyle China through their Chinese distributor and decided to co-operate with them to increase the popularity of their products in China. Company representative Ms Anna Bogani said: “We strongly believe that the future comes from Asian markets and we are doing our best to enter China, hoping Chinese people will appreciate our Campana Home Cooking products. Our target is to bring fashion from Milan to Chinese kitchens and to reach the hearts of consumers to give them the chance of choosing their favourite colourful cookware so they can bring their own style to the kitchen.”
Guardini is exhibiting at the show on the advice of their Chinese distributor who recommends Interior Lifestyle China as an important fair for presenting brands and products to the local market. Company representative Ms Elena Guardini said: “We think it is the right time to present an Italian brand in China. The Chinese market is free of brands in the bakeware sector and we are a well known brand in Europe. We hope to meet department store buyers from the most important Chinese cities.”
The 24,600 sqm Interior Lifestyle China show will be held in parallel to Paperworld China, the trade fair for the stationery and office supplies industry. Holding the two shows at the same venue offers buyers a larger range of products to choose from. For more information about Interior Lifestyle China 2014, please visit www.il-china.com
