The Engineering Institute of Thailand under H.M. the King’s Patronage, with VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. Will organize “Engineering ‘14” which consists of international academic conferences, tradeshows, public exhibitions and the most advanced engineering innovations of the year under the theme of “Engineering for Tomorrow” to develop knowledge, raise professional standard, and inspire the next generation. The exhibition will be held between 27-30 November 2014 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition (BITEC), Bang-Na.
Professor Dr. Suchatvee Suwansawat, president of the Engineering Institute of Thailand under H.M. the King’s Patronage announced that “Engineering ‘14” is an annual event which has been held for 18 times up to now. In this year, in order to increase the number of general visitors other than those in engineering fields, the event has placed its focus on the theme of “Engineering for Tomorrow.” There will be series of special exhibits showcasing in 3 main parts including;
The first part is an international academic conference organized by a group of scholars, researchers, and developers in the worldwide engineering profession covering over 100 topics by related experts in all fields of engineering.
The second part is the trade exhibition of products and services in all fields of engineering. This is an international platform in the Asia Pacific region that features every aspect of state-of-the-art equipment in industries, more than 2,000 items from over 200 leading exhibitors providing opportunities for entrepreneurs to discuss business together through "business matching" session.
The last part is the public exhibition of innovative engineering products for tomorrow with the aim to demonstrate the future and current potential of technology and innovation in field of engineering to groups of students and the general public. More importantly, visitors will have the opportunity to study and consider each product and service inspired by multidisciplinary engineering knowledge before making purchase at a very special price.
There will be a special exhibition called “Smart Home and Living” showcasing a collection of products of advanced engineering that have never been exhibited anywhere before to inspire and encourage the creation of new products by groups of engineering innovators and creationists. Additionally, a special area called “Engineering Play Ground” will be featured in the exhibition to display toys as stimuli of creative thinking skills and as a gateway to the understanding of the engineering profession.
Mrs. Jintana Sirisantana, president of Engineering ’14 said that “Engineering ’14 is held annually during the anniversary week of the Engineering Institute of Thailand under H.M. the King’s Patronage on the 30th of November. The exhibition is to develop knowledge, raise professional standard of engineer as the key person to better quality of life.
"Engineering ‘14" will be held between 27-30 November 2014, 10.00-20.00 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC), covering an area of around 10,000 square meters. Trade days are from 27 to 28 November, while public days are from 29 to 30 November.
Engineering ’14 is going to become a new phenomenon to all visitors, especially for families and youth to learn and understand the engineering profession even more because everything around us is all the products of engineers. Join us, and witness all of the technology and science from leading organizations around the world. There will be free consultancy services provided to the public in the zone of "Engineering Clinic" where participants can consult with any topics from construction laws, common construction problems such as cracks in the houses, collapsed houses, to contractors who discard their jobs and so on.
