BANGKOK , July 28, 2014 -( ASIA TODAY )- Thai Contractors Association reveals that the outlook of construction market will better surely. Moreover the association also prepared the measures to improve Thai’s construction industry after stagnation for 2 years from flood in 2012. Including rising operation cost and labor shortage. Although Thailand has migrant workers around 500,000, but it was not enough to serve the market needs especially skilled workers. That’s why the association to hold the CONSTECH 2015 – the platform to gathering all the latest construction and mining machineries from around the world showcasing in the event. Entrepreneurs, business owner, engineer, and visitors able to update and test the latest machine in the CONSTECH 2015. Moreover they may provide a new partner to join hand toward to the ASEAN market.
Thai Contractors Association Under H.M. The King’s Patronage entrusted IMPACT Exhibition Organizer to hold the CONSTECH 2015 - The international trade exhibition and conference dedicated exclusively to machinery, equipment and technology for construction & mining industries. The organizer aim the exhibition to be an appointment place for entrepreneurs on construction industry to business discussion, purchase new products and test the machines equipments, and learn about technology and innovation from international experts on 27th – 29th March 2015 at Hall7-8, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre, Bangkok, Thailand.
Before the show day, IMPACT Exhibition Organizer prelude the show by hold the CONSTECH 2015 Industry Forum with concept “The outlook of Thailand Construction Industry” to share the outlook of Thai and ASEAN construction industry to entrepreneurs, constructors, engineer, equipment distributors, and member of the association for planning to manage business efficiency.
At the CONSTECH 2015 Industry Forum has a special key note Speech in “Thailand’ strategic infrastructure development” by the representative from Office of the National Economics and Social Development Board which is the importance issue and impact to contractors, engineers and suppliers of machinery and construction equipment and There will be discussion on “The trends of Construction Machinery and Technology in the Next 10 years” by Mr. Sompoch Rattana Areeyagon, Deputy Managing Director, STIT Co., Ltd., Mr. Sitthiporn Suwansut President of Thai Home Builders Association, Col. Sobhon Harncharoen Ch-Karnchang Equipment Centre Manager, Ch-Karnchang Public Company Limited, Mr. Nayot Pisantanakul Asst Managing Director Syntec Construction Public Company Limited, And Chakporn Oonjit, PhD. Executive Director, Construction Institute of Thailand as a moderator.
Mr. Aungsurus Areekul, President of Thai Contractors Association under H.M. the King’s Patronage said “ Since 2012, Labor shortage is a crisis the we must solve before the mega project from government and private sector will happen. One thing that we have to accept, labor crisis was effect to rising operation cost and Thai labor was un willing to do construction work. Those are the reasons why we have to import migrant workers from Cambodia, Myanmar, and Laos. Now we have around 500,000 migrant workers, but 3 Cambodian workers can work totally just only 1 Thai worker. So we have to bring new technology to work some part instead human. Technologies also help constructors to save operation cost and increase more quality.
The currently situation, construction market incline to be better after stagnation for 2 years from flood in 2012. Now new technologies were occurring. Constructors and engineers should visit the CONSTECH 2015 for see the latest technology and machine that will showcasing in the event and learn how to use them efficiency. However technology can help just only some part. We still need human labor.”
Besides Ms.Pornphan Bulners, Director of IMPACT Exhibition Organizer, IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. as a show manager of CONSTECH 2015 revealed “This time is 3rd edition of CONSTECH that Thai Contractors Association under H.M. the King’s Patronage entrusted IMPACT Exhibition Organizer to hold the CONSTECH. Last year there are exhibitors interested to exhibit in the event amount 215 local and international companies such as China, India, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, etc. and attracted almost 6,000 visitors from 33 countries. The cash flow more than 100 million baht. The CONSTECH 2015 will happen in March 2015. IMPACT prepared 13,500 square meters of exhibition area to showcasing machines, test drive, and seminars. We expect to attract more exhibitors and visitors than last year.”
