Kuala Lumpur, 22 August 2014 – Cuscapi Berhad (Cuscapi), Asia’s leading F&B business management solution provider, has developed a highly customized security solution known as Cuscapi Managed Security Suite (CMSS) to minimize downtime of their Transight® Point-Of-Sale (POS) machines.
CMSS, developed in collaboration with Symantec Corporation, will help to minimize disruptions to an outlet’s operation. With this security measure, F&B operators are assured that only certified applications are allowed to operate within the Transight ® POS environment. This minimizes possible situations of a downtime in POS resulting from security breaches or threats.
A downtime in POS would have a negative impact on the operation resulting in loss of sales and even data which is crucial in the resource planning for any F&B business.
As CMSS operates on a platform that is constantly updated with a list of potential security risks, it offers complete protection to a POS system. This added element means it is able to detect new threats that are in conflict with the POS environment and prompt immediate remedy without resulting in system intrusion and hence downtime of POS.
