Hong Kong, 3 September 2014 -( ASIA TODAY )- Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Management) Limited (“HML”) Managing Director Ms Monica Lee-Müller, Deputy Managing Director Mr Bill DiCarlo and a number of senior managers took the ALS ice bucket challenge on 29 August. By accepting the nomination by Ocean Park Hong Kong, a major theme park in Hong Kong, HML hopes to raise public awareness on Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), and has mobilized all staff to make donations to the Hong Kong Neuro-Muscular Disease Association (HKNMDA).
Before taking the ice bucket challenge, Ms Lee-Müller urged HML staff members and the community to continue extending care and support to ALS patients, as well as others in need.
