Visitors can source the latest professional audio, lighting and entertainment equipment from 500 brands and companies at this year’s Prolight + Sound Shanghai ─ one of the most leading trade fairs for the entertainment industry in Asia. The show will be held from 8 – 11 October at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Shanghai, China.
As well as a complete range of entertainment products on display, a series of fringe events and live demonstrations will take place with a key focus on innovative technologies. These activities will cover various cutting edge technologies and solutions to the evolving industry. Furthermore, the show will demonstrate the applications on multimedia technologies. Audience will have distinctive experience by combining audio, visual and lighting effects with creative designs.

New media technology is one of the new trends in China’s entertainment industry. This debut forum will provide the latest new media technology applications in various sectors including theatre and exhibitions through case sharing. Speakers include:

Continuing the successful launch last year, Mr Tobias Gremmler will once again install the Dome Projection at the 2014 show with a new element moving robot. The 180 degree projection screen shows 3D images where audience can interact with the dome. Robots will also be present which bring audience a unique experience on new media technologies.

This biggest and professional outdoor line array demonstration in Asia will feature 11 leading audio brands, allowing audience to experience a professional concert sound effect in an outdoor environment. This forum will cover topics about revolutionary stage design in China and abroad. One of the speakers Mr Oliver Leigers, founder of theateringenieur.de from Germany will discuss and share his in-depth knowledge in stage design. Mr Leigers is a certified BGV C1 inspection expert with profound experience in engineering design and 3D visualisation for the stage engineering market and scenic arts environment. He was also involved in various theartre projects including Royal Opera House Muscat in Oman and Neues Musiktheater in Linz, Austria.
