“Let others alight first” and “Move into the centre of the train compartment.” These simple actions that maximise the use of space on trains and facilitate smoother departures are the focus of the MTR Courtesy Campaign 2014. Featuring a television commercial, eye-catching posters and giant floor stickers to promote considerate behaviours, the new MTR Courtesy Campaign builds on the momentum of recent initiatives including the launch of the “Early Bird Discount Promotion” Trial Programme and the latest round of train service enhancements.
Renowned actor Mr Wong Cho-lam takes the leading role in the Courtesy Campaign that begins today (15 September 2014) which highlights to passengers how “Everyone will benefit” by showing just a little more courtesy.
“Every passenger can play a part in creating a more pleasant journey. By showing their care for others and helping to develop a more caring culture, the passengers themselves can benefit as more space becomes available in train compartments and everybody can board and alight more quickly,” said Ms Jeny Yeung, Commercial Director of the MTR Corporation.
“We are happy to have Mr Wong Cho-lam take part in our campaign. We believe his energy and humour will help to reinforce the courtesy messages to create an even better travelling experience for our passengers,” said Ms Jeny Yeung, Commercial Director of the MTR Corporation.
