(Hong Kong, 14 October 2014) The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (“HKCEC”) has just been voted “Best Convention & Exhibition Centre” for the sixth time in the 25th TTG Travel Awards 2014. The good news was announced at the cocktail reception on 9th October, in celebration of the HKCEC’s 26th anniversary. The reception was hosted by Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Management) Ltd (“HML”) at the newly launched restaurant Congress Plus. 350 clients, business associates, government officials and friends joined HML’s senior management executives and staff on this special occasion.
In her remarks, Managing Director of HML, Ms Monica Lee-Müller thanked the guests, “We are proud to manage one of the most active and successful convention and exhibition centres in the world. It is the patronage and encouragement from clients and business partners which inspire us to excel.”
“At HML, we are honoured that the HKCEC has won ‘The Best’ title again. We will not rest on our laurels, however. The entire HML team is committed to building further on this solid foundation and taking the HKCEC to even higher ground, through investments in upgrading venue facilities as well as grooming young talents to maintain our leadership position.”
Although the HKCEC has a busy event schedule throughout the year, HML continues to aggressively promote Hong Kong and the HKCEC under global spotlight. At the cocktail reception, HML presented a new marketing video – Reaching New Heights which highlights unique selling points that prompt international event organisers to choose Hong Kong and the HKCEC.
