Madrid - ASIATODAY.COM - The 3rd Audemars Piguet Prize for the Production of a Work of Art will be awarded on 11 November. For yet another year, this prize recognises quality in fine Swiss watch-making within the framework of its sponsorship agreement with ARCOmadrid.
This prize, which includes a monetary figure of 15,000 euros for producing the work, will recognise the artistic creation that best embodies the spirit of the brand message, based this year on: “The Mystery of Precision”.
The winning piece will be displayed in the Audemars Piguet space within the VIP Lounge at ARCOmadrid 2015, and will be chosen by a panel made up by: Winka Angelrath, Audemars Piguet International Exhibition and Event Manager; Beatriz Espejo, Editor-in-Chief of El Cultural; Flavia de Hohelohe, Chairman of Sothebys España; Eloy Martínez de la Pera, curator and consultant of Audemars Piguet for ARCOmadrid 2015; Guillermo Solana, Director of the Thyssen Museum: and Carlos Urroz, Director of ARCOmadrid.
The second edition of the Audemars Piguet Prize for the Production of a Work of Art was awarded to the project entitled “cr_O_ma” by Guillermo Mora, the artist proposed by the Formato Cómodo gallery. The piece was then displayed in the VIP Lounge at ARCOmadrid 2014.
