Exhibition Organizer Co., Ltd. or NEO, and Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau or TCEB, together with lighting companies all around the world proudly unveil “PEA presents EcoLightTech Asia 2014” to promote energy efficiency, stimulate the national economy, and get ready for the upcoming “International Year of Light and Light-Based Technologies.”
Recently, the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center Bangkok, Mr. Numchai Lowattanatakul, Governor of PEA, and Mrs. Jaruwan Suwannasat, Exhibitions and Events Director of TCEB, along with Mr. Sakchai Pattarapreechakul, Managing Director of N.C.C Group presided over the opening ceremony of the “PEA presents EcoLightTech Asia 2014.” Hundreds of world class leading entrepreneurs and business partners also attended the ceremony.
Mr. Namchai Lorwattanatrakul, Governor of PEA said that PEA, as the leader in energy-efficient technology of LED and the model of energy-efficient office “PEA Green Office,” has been campaigning and motivating electricity consumers to switch to energy-saving bulbs, which is the most favorable option to use electric power efficiently, reducing dependence on imported fuel from abroad to produce electricity, and alleviating global warming.
This trade show has assembled innovations, products, services and high quality technologies in energy-efficient lighting for entrepreneurs in Thailand. It is expected to welcome over 5,000 visitors from around the world, creating a turnover of over 5,000 million baht, and lead to the expansion of high-performance LED products market in the country.
Entrepreneurs and business people will gain access to the technology and science of energy that benefit their own industries and enterprises, leading to reduction in electricity consumption and administrative costs. Most importantly, the trade show will potentially help enhance Thailand's image as the center of trade and innovative energy, promoting the economic growth and supporting the foundation of social development and environmental sustainability.
Mrs. Jaruwan Suwannasat, Exhibitions and Events Director of Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) added that “TCEB is a government agency under the supervision of the Office of the Prime Minister whose mission is to enhance the competitiveness and drive the MICE industry. We realize the importance of the trade show “PEA presents EcoLightTech Asia 2014” and are more than willing to support the activities in terms of foreign markets in countries such as the Philippines and Vietnam including the ASEAN plus 6 and countries in the BISMEC group, to tap into trade groups, associations and other related confederations in order to attract business communities to attend the trade show and join the business matching session under the campaigns “Connect Businesses.” Another campaign “Be My Guest” will provide accommodation for major buyers from around the world, and assist foreign business people who join the trade show at the Suvarnabhumi airport.
