According to IHS Global Insight, global growth for 2014 is expected to hit 2.7%, which is slightly greater than in 2013, and will increase further to 3.0% in 2015. The CEA Consumer Sentiment Indexes represent more than three years of research into cutting-edge methods for measuring consumer expectations about the future. Based on the latest data released, consumer sentiments toward the overall economy reached a record level in December 2014. This is a strong signal that shows the U.S. economy is accelerating at a fast pace and the U.S. will play a major role in global growth next year.
