Ramada Expands in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA (January 13, 2015) – ASIATODAY.COM - Wyndham Hotel Group, the world’s largest hotel company with approximately 7,590 hotels and part of Wyndham Worldwide Corporation (NYSE: WYN), has expanded its Ramada® brand in Malaysia with the opening of the 357-room Ramada Plaza Dua Sentral Kuala Lumpur, the brand’s second location in the country.

The announcement increases the Ramada brand’s robust portfolio of more than 30 hotels throughout South East Asia and the Pacific Rim at a time of unprecedented growth for the brand in the region, which added new properties in Australia and New Zealand in 2014. Throughout the region, Wyndham Hotel Group currently has nearly 60 hotels open and operating under its Ramada, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts®, Days Inn®, TRYP by Wyndham® and Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham® brands.

Managed by Wyndham Hotel Group’s management company, Ramada Plaza Dua Sentral Kuala Lumpur offers a range of dining options from the Grill 582, Kembali Kitchen, Hugo’s On 6 and the Punch Bar & Lounge; ten meeting rooms, all of which feature natural lighting; the on-site Avana Spa; a children’s pool, and a fully-equipped fitness centre with an infinity pool.

The 33-storey hotel is a 50-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur International Airport and is ideally located steps from the city’s shopping, entertainment and attractions.
