Taipei AMPA / AutoTronics Taipei

Thanks to its complete and seamless supply chain of automobile parts and accessories, Taiwan is now one of the world's largest exporting countries. Capable of high-mix, low-volume and flexible production, Taiwan has earned USD 5.1 billion export dollars from automobile parts between Jan and Sep 2014, showing a 4.6% increase over the same period last year. The major exported products include tires, automotive lighting, electric parts, suspension and transmission systems, engines, wheels and braking systems. The top five export countries are US, Japan, China, UK and Germany. Taipei AMPA has also expanded with rapid industry growth, and more than 1,000 firms have registered for 2,895 booths by Jan 7. Renowned companies in Taiwan will gather together at Taipei AMPA, including Tong Yang, world's leading manufacturer of auto collision parts, Depo, Eagle Eyes, Sonar, TYC and Sirius, household-name companies of automotive lamps, as well as Racing Parts, a professional absorber supplier. Companies from Thailand, Malaysia and China will display their products in specialized areas. Other individual exhibitors come from Germany, Canada, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam. AutoTronics Taipei will also be held in conjunction, hosting 100 firms with 232 booths. Must-visit Taiwanese brands include Tung Thih, E-Lead, Mobiletron and Whetron.

EV Taiwan

The government has offered great support to the EV industry in recent years to promote the use of clean energy. 10 pilot-run projects was carried out within three years, as phase one of the "Development Strategies and Action Plans of Smart Electric Vehicles" launched in April 2010. The phase two begun in May, 2014, with a view to establish a new industry focusing on key auto parts manufactured in Taiwan. Around 37,000 electric scooters would be produced in four years, generating a yearly profit of at least USD 183.33 million. To help Taiwanese suppliers in expanding their domestic and international markets, the Bureau of Foreign Trade, MOE, launched EV Taiwan in 2011 with the support of TAITRA, TTVMA and TEEMA. As of Jan 7, 75 firms have registered for 233 booths at EV Taiwan 2015, including Phisiang, Bu Bu Tong, Dijiya and Kuan Mei, leading EV suppliers in Taiwan, as well as Neues Japan. The main products on display range from parts/accessories and charging devices to electric vehicles, such as motor inverters, charging station devices, battery modules and inspection systems.

1st Tuning & Car Care Taiwan

According to MOF statistics, there are currently 2,626 car care suppliers in Taiwan, generating a total profit of USD 143.3 million throughout 2013 and USD 129 million as of October this year. It is estimated that 7.2 million registered vehicles (including coaches and trucks) in 2014, with an annual cost of USD 440 dollars on car care per vehicle, will contribute USD 3.1 billion to the market. To take advantage of such market potential, TAITRA organized the first "Tuning & Car Care Taiwan" to help expand market share and venture into the global market. As of Jan 7, more than 130 booths have been snapped up by 51 firms, including Taiwan's SUM, Casa, Yao Cheer and Idée, as well as Hong Kong's Speedy and KLS. To ensure success for the 1st "Tuning & Car Care Taiwan", the organizer will display tuned supercars in partnership with Option, an experienced event organizer for car tuning. Other highlights include speeches, performances and check-in complementary gifts. In addition, many promotional events will be held to attract more exhibitors and increase marketing exposure.

Motorcycle Taiwan

With more than 95% of motorcycles domestically produced, Taiwan boasts a complete, seamless supply chain of bike parts and accessories that serves the home market and supports its global expansion. In 2014, 667,390 bikes were sold in the domestic market, 25% more than in 2013. From January to September, 2014, 261,805 bikes were sold globally, primarily in Japan, Columbia and Spain. Exports to Spain, in particular, increased by nearly 40%.

Taiwanese motorcycle and accessory vendors are equipped with sophisticated design and manufacturing technologies. Thanks to their outstanding design and sales capabilities, Taiwanese bike brands, parts and accessories are widely recognized both at home and abroad. As of Jan 7, the 10th Motorcycle Taiwan in 2015 has attracted 135 firms applying for more than 270 booths.
