The 69th Giftionery Taipei and the 4th Taiwan Souvenir & Handcraft Show are set to take place alongside each other from April 23 to 26 at Exhibition Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC). The two shows are set to form the biggest event in the gifts and crafts industry in Taiwan.
Together, the two shows will be joined by 560 exhibiting firms using 1,000 standard size booth spaces. The exhibitors will be showcasing a wide range of products, from gifts, creative products, jewelry, watches, to office supplies, tech accessories, homeware, artworks, and even the specialty foods, arts and crafts from around Taiwan. The show’s organizer, TWTC, is expecting to receive over twenty thousand local and international visitors this year.
Among this year’s international exhibitor are firms from India, Hong Kong, Swaziland, China, Japan, Bhutan, and Nepal. According to TWTC, the number of booths used by this year’s international exhibitors have increased 20 percent from last year to 150 standard size booths.
One of the major highlights of this year’s 2-in-1 extravaganza is a design forum to be held during the four day show period where the great Issey Miyake will be speaking as one of forum’s guest speakers on 2016’s design trends.
