The Provincial Electricity Authority or PEA and N.C.C. Exhibition Organizer Co., Ltd. or NEO are in the process of preparing “The 3rd PEA presents EcoLightTech Asia 2015” after the phenomenal success in the previous year, particularly, in terms of trade negotiation that rose by 54 percent, generating a turnover of up to 200 million baht. This concept of the event this year is “energy-saving innovation for the industrial sector,” which is expected to be another opportunity for member countries to get ready for the approaching AEC, and the international year of light.
Mrs. Bussaya Prakobthong, general manager of N.C.C. Exhibition Organizer said that the “PEA presents EcoLightTech Asia,” which is the international tradeshow for green technologies and innovations in lighting, was very successful last year. The 54% growth in trade negotiation is impressive compared to the year 2013. The event also achieved the record breaking of visitors both domestic and international with the jumps by 10% and 13% respectively. Also received the great feedback from our fellow exhibitors with the growth of 8% so we were able to complete our floor with exhibitors from 9 countries, spreading over 3,000 sq.m. These successful stories resulted in the turnover of up to 200 million baht. “EcoLightTech Asia”
has strengthened its place among the group of the ASEAN’s 3 international trade shows for lighting industry and the only ASEAN hub of lighting technologies and innovation for entrepreneurs.
In addition, the global LED lighting market in 2015 has up to now amounted to
25.7 billion US dollars. The market share of LED lighting increased 31%, while the lighting market overall grew 82.1 million dollars with the European countries as the largest LED market holding 23% of the total market share.
China is ranked the second, accounting for 21%, followed by countries in North America which account for 19%. The Asia Pacific region is number four with 13% of the share, while the remaining 24% consists of Japan, Middle East, Africa and South America. This year, the market is still likely to expand steadily because of rapid population growth, favorable government policies and an abundance of private-sector LED lighting projects.
“PEA presents EcoLightTech Asia 2015,” the 3rd edition on international tradeshow for green technologies and innovations in lighting, is carefully planned and prepared to bring products and services that perfectly meet the needs of the target groups of visitors in the international, regional and national scales. This year, together with “C-Tech 2015,” premier cooling technology tradeshow, and “SolarTech 2015,” Solar powered technology tradeshow,” the “PEA presents EcoLightTech Asia 2015”, will be held under the theme of “energy-saving innovations and technologies for entrepreneurs.” The event will be held during 19-21 November 2015 at 10:00 to 18:00 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok.
