Teeming with much anticipation and enthusiasm, the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition gets ready to celebrate its 20th anniversary held from 9 – 12 June 2015 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China. The four-day event will welcome a record-breaking 2,698 exhibitors from 27 countries and regions, covering 225,000 sqm of exhibition space across 21 halls. At this lighting and LED trading platform, worldwide attendees can expect to connect with valuable lighting business contacts, find inspiration and forge strategic partnerships.

The Guangzhou show has a proven track record for providing one of the most comprehensive lighting and LED shows in Asia and the 2015 edition will continue the tradition. Some of the leading brands and their associated categories present this year will include:

Smart lighting platforms and wireless connectivity
ADATA is a reputable semiconductor brand from Taiwan. They will showcase their latest LED bulb that can be paired with Bluetooth interface application on any smart phone or tablet.
Everfine Corporation is a renowned photoelectrical measurement instruments company from China. They will display their latest spectral irradiance colorimeter integrated with intelligent wireless features.
Modular systems and assembly technologies for quality lighting and flexible design
Dow Corning, a specialist in secondary optic materials, will highlight its fast curable adhesives, which improves lighting assembly and increases productivity. It reduces cost of ownership, enabling more flexible design on LED lighting and is proven to be more durable in high temperatures.
Advancements in LED packaging technologies
Based in Japan, Citizen Electronics will showcase their latest phosphor LED coating technology and spectrum tuning technologies developed to deliver higher qualities of light. They will also display a series of VIVID type LED products to cope with the market needs of human-centric lighting.
Samsung Electronics, a world leader in advanced packaging products in Korea, will showcase its flip chip LED package and module product series. It is significantly smaller compared to conventional LED packages, allowing flexible and compact designs of various lighting modules and fixtures. Another highlight is the company’s advanced multifaceted phosphor coating technology, which is proven to offer higher lighting qualities.
In conjunction with the impressive exhibitor line-up, international pavilions will also be a highlight of the show. Supported by their respective governmental authorities and industry organisations, the Taiwan, US, Korea, Japan and Hong Kong Pavilions, composed of many prominent industry brands and innovative small and medium enterprises, add to the internationalism of the fair, promoting regional innovations, and cross-region collaboration on Solid State Lighting (SSL) technology.
Mr Gary Stanley, Director, Office of Material Industries from the US Department of Commerce and organiser of the US pavilion, expressed: “We have coordinated with the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition for six years. The US companies specialising in SSL technology and LED industry have been at the forefront of innovative LED technologies as well as energy-saving products and systems. I believe the show will serve as an excellent platform for US companies to connect with quality buyers who are interested in investing in the US market.”

The Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology is held concurrently with the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition. Both fairs are headed by the biennial Light + Building event, which will take place from 13 – 18 March 2016 in Frankfurt, Germany.
