MicroAd And AdRoll Announce Platform Integration In Japan & APAC

MicroAd, Inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo; CEO: Kentaro Watanabe; hereinafter referred to as “MicroAd”), the leading Online Ad Platform company in Asia, today announced that its supply-side platform (SSP), “MicroAd COMPASS”, has been connected to AdRoll, the world’s most widely used retargeting platform.

“MicroAd COMPASS” is a programmatic ad platform that enables the maximization of advertising revenue of online publishers. It implements "Full Flat Auction" among the offers from ad networks, demand-side platforms (DSPs) and direct-sold ads, and identifies the most profitable ad unit to be displayed for each impression in real time.

The integration with AdRoll’s DSP will help MicroAd to deliver better value and achieve an uplift in the profitability of the publishers using “MicroAd COMPASS”, as a result of increased number of bidders and intensity of competition.

“MicroAd COMPASS”, Japan’s largest online ad inventory source, is AdRoll’s first local direct real-time-bidding (RTB) integration partner as part of the latter’s expansion in Japan. Furthermore, “MicroAd COMPASS” has been launched since last December in other countries in which MicroAd operates, including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, India, the Philippines, South Korea and Thailand. The platform integration also applies to ad inventory in these countries, currently with completed integration in South Korea and Vietnam and planned integration in the rest. In other words, advertisers using AdRoll platform will be able to reach more publishers across the Asia region.
