Exhibitor interest continues to increase as 2013 show gets closer
New dedicated hall for heat meter & HVAC products for energy-saving projects
More companies offer complete collections of sanitary wares
Alongside the successful conclusion of the inaugural show for ISH Shanghai & CIHE, professionals continued to express their interest for participation in ISH China & CIHE - China International Trade Fair for Sanitation, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning. The show, held from 8 - 10 April 2013, will take place once again at Beijing’s New China International Exhibition Centre.
The 2013 edition will cover six halls and occupy a record-breaking 80,000 sqm of exhibition space. Exhibitors will showcase a range of their last innovations in HVAC and sanitation technologies. Main product areas of focus include boilers, wall-hung boilers, floor-heating systems, toilets, faucets, bathtubs and showers as well as heat meters, radiators, heat exchangers and much more. Two new product-focused sections, heat pumps and energy-saving HVAC products, have been added to the 2013 show, providing visitors with a more seamless experience at the show. The three-day fair is expecting 900 exhibitors and 38,000 visitors to attend.
As of early November, most of the show’s loyal exhibitors like Danfoss and Heraeus have asked for bigger booths. A number of increasingly instrumental global players have also confirmed their participation, including Aereco (France), Caladia (Austria), Hoffer (Germany), John Guest (U.K), Kiturami (Korea), MFB (Italy), Ouderui (USA), Poloplast (Germany), R.B.M (Italy), VIR (Italy) and Wavin (The Netherlands).
For Kiturami Precision Co Ltd, the Beijing fair presents the perfect opportunity to introduce their heating technology from Korea to the local market. Mr Kim Byeonggon, General Manager of China Area noted: “Our goal is to introduce popular heating methods in Korea to China. After considerable research, we developed a set of state-of-the-art wall-hung boilers that saves energy for users and is cost-effective. I believe this product will be well-received by attendees to the show.”
New dedicated hall for heat meter & HVAC products for energy-saving projects
A greater focus on energy efficiency and emission reduction is taking place within Chinese enterprises. One of the particular tools that have started to gain considerable attention is heat meters. The Chinese Government has developed a policy that calls for the upgrading of heat-metering devices for central heating across the country’s North region. In response to a rapidly growing domestic market, ISH China & CIHE has dedicated a separate hall (W3) to heat meter and other energy-saving HVAC suppliers.
So far over 80 heat meter exhibitors, including brands such as Better, Basic, Hailin, Ploumeter and Huizhong, have signed up for the thematic hall. Compared to the previous edition, 77% of the exhibitors increase their booth size. Booth area confirmed has reached 4,300 sqm, 100% increased compared to the 2012 edition.
With fast-growing business potential, Shandong Better Smart Unicom Metering Co Ltd has confirmed their participation for the 2013 show with nearly triple the booth size from their participation in the previous fair. Mr Duan Ming, General Manager noted: “The market for our products is growing, and we need a platform to display our technology to build our brands image. ISH China & CIHE continues to be the best choice for us. For the 2013 fair, we will be presenting our new ultrasonic heat meter and temperature control integrated system.”
First-time exhibitor, Beijing Shuoren Times Technology Co Ltd, decided to join the fair to promote its range of thermal monitoring products and technologies. Expressing his appreciation for ISH China & CIHE, Mr Dai Binwen, General Manager exclaimed: “The Beijing show offers us the perfect platform to communicate and cooperate with industry professionals. We believe the fair will provide some great new business and help our company grow exponentially.”
More companies offer complete collections of sanitary wares
Facing global economic challenges, manufacturers of sanitary wares are more active than ever in looking for various means to develop China’s domestic market. Instead of focusing on just one specialised area of sanitation products, more and more suppliers have begun offering one-stop sourcing solutions to offset rising raw material costs as well as to offer customers with a new competitive purchase module, which consists of all the necessary wares needed to outfit a bathroom and public restrooms.
Known as “integrated bathroom solutions”, this growing trend allows for uniform design in bathrooms and public restrooms as well as boosts the development of brands in China’s sanitation industry. Mr Wang Wei, Secretary General of China Building Ceramics & Sanitary Ware Associations Sanitary Ware Branch expressed: “Integrated bathroom solutions are a very promising solution for China’s North region. The solution is already utilised by a number of hotels, high-level communities and villas around the country. As more residential properties are added to the domestic market, I believe integrated bathrooms will be necessary to meet the market’s new demands.”
Ms Zhu Caiqing, Secretary General of China Real Estate Association - Council of Human Settlements added: “With the improvement of living standards across the country, people are starting to ask for more from their living environment, including bathrooms. Integrated bathroom solutions offer suppliers a chance to truly build their own brands and tap into a profitable market. I believe ISH China & CIHE will provide one of the best platforms for specialists within this sector to grow their firms and showcase the quality their respective company’s can offer.”
ISH China & CIHE is headed by the biennial ISH event in Frankfurt, the world’s leading trade fair for The Bathroom Experience, Building, Energy, Air-conditioning Technology, Renewable Energies, taking place 12 - 16 March 2013. Furthermore, the next edition of ISH Shanghai & CIHE is scheduled to take place from 25 - 27 September 2013, concurrently with the Shanghai Intelligent Building Technology fair at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.
