The 41st Taipei International Electronics Show, jointly organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (TEEMA) will unfold October 6th to 9th at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Hall 1 this year. The show, popularly known as TAITRONICS, will showcase 450 exhibitors spread over 1,000 booths and expects approximately 40,000 domestic and overseas visitors.

This year's show is divided into nine exhibition areas—Active & Passive Components; Electronic Components & Parts; Meters & Instruments; LED Lighting & Applications; Cells, Batteries & Power Supplies; Industrial Process & Automation Equipment; Smart Living & Consumer Electronics; Broadband Products & Cloud tech; and Electrical Energy. This last area was added this year in response to the innovation and development of renewable energy around the world, the rising need for power equipment in emerging markets, and the efforts of national governments promoting energy conservation and green products. Notable domestic brand Shihlin Electric and Japanese electronics giants NEC and IIU will be some of the featured exhibitors in the Electrical Energy area, showcasing the newest concepts and innovations in energy-saving and low-pollutant technology, whether in distribution equipment, IT and network solutions, or electronic devices.

TAITRONICS 2015 has drawn exhibitors from countries all around the world, such as France, South Korea, China (including Hong Kong), the United States, and Canada. Among these exhibitors, the Aomori Prefecture, Tourism and International Affairs Strategy Bureau—a Japanese government unit—will organize six Japanese manufacturers to exhibit their machinery, optical and medical equipment, and automotive parts. The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry will display the newest concepts and technology in India's electronics and IT industry in the India Pavilion and expects the exhibition scale to triple from last year's. Other notable exhibitors include KSS, Excel Cell Electronic, DECA, Avertronics, GW Instek, Chy Firemate, and cloud ASP Unisvr.

The 2015 Taipei International Electronics Show brings visitors the newest products and technology in the industry. It is also a platform for initiating face-to-face meetings with domestic and international companies, expanding business opportunities all over the world and creating partnerships.
