Asiamold 2015 kicks off next week with strong line-up of prominent brands

Asiamold, one of the most influential and professional exhibitions for mould, die and additive manufacturing in China, will open for trade from 15 – 17 September 2015 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. The three-day event will welcome 320 exhibitors from countries and regions such as Belgium, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Turkey and the US. Show visitors can expect to source a wealth of instruments and technologies across many specialties, including mould making, 3D printing, die casting and metalworking.

Returning exhibitors from within and outside China have already confirmed their attendance to display innovative products in 20,000 sqm of exhibition space. Prominent brands include E-Mould Plastic Technology (SZ) Ltd, PE Mould Industrial Ltd, Shanghai Union 3D Technology Co Ltd, Materialise China, Shanghai Telue Precision EDM Machine Tools Co Ltd, Foshan Nanhai Almax Non-Ferrous Metals Co Ltd and many others.

Mr Louis Leung, Deputy General Manager of Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd, stated: “This year, we have organised one of the most comprehensive showcases of up-to-date solutions for China’s complex and demanding manufacturing market. In addition to a roster of prominent exhibitor brands, over 40 buyer delegations have also already confirmed their participation for the 2015 show, including P&G, Foxconn, BYD, Watsons, Midea Electric Appliances, Hongda, Gree Electric Appliances and others. With the help of these big names, the fair expects to welcome over 19,000 professional buyers from around the world. 3D Printing Asia Zone to be a major show highlight

Over the years, the fair’s thematic zones, an integral part of the show, have proven to add value for visitors. For example, continuing on its success from 2014, Asiamold’s 3D Printing Asia Zone will again be a key show highlight. This year, more than 60 world- renowned 3D manufacturing brands will participate, a 25% increase from the previous edition. They will present the sector’s most innovative products that may change the mould and die casting industry as we know it. Confirmed first-time zone participants include:

* Stratasys

Founded in 1989, Stratasys is a leading manufacturer of 3D printers and 3D production systems for office-based rapid prototyping and digital manufacturing solutions. * 3D Systems

Headquartered in South Carolina, 3D Systems is an American company that provides some of the most advanced and comprehensive 3D digital design and fabrication solutions, including 3D printers, print materials, and cloud-sourced custom parts. The company's technologies and services are used in the design, development and production stages of many industries, including aerospace, automotive, architecture, healthcare, dental, entertainment, recreation and consumer goods.

* Shanghai Ureal Technology Co Ltd

Shanghai Ureal Technology Co Ltd is a professional high-tech enterprise in 3D printing technology application solutions. Since its establishment in 2003, the company has played an active role within domestic 3D printing facilities and services markets. The company offers customers a full range of services, from product development to manufacturing, to help reduce product development cycle times, promote creativity, lower production costs and increase product diversity.

Additionally, exhibitors of the 2015 show are also categorised into the following three areas: moulding, die casting, and metalworking instruments and technologies. Show attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the latest market trends and find a wealth of up-to-date solutions for China’s sophisticated manufacturing market.

Concurrent events present business opportunities and new market intelligence

A schedule of events, held concurrently with Asiamold 2015, is set to foster technology exchange and reinforce networking opportunities among exhibitors and visitors. Apart from the concurrent interactive programme, another key highlight will be the debut of the 3D Printing Gallery in Hall 2.1. With “Print Your Infinity” as the theme, 60 creative projects focused on high-precision designs will demonstrate the latest 3D printing technologies. Some of the gallery exhibits will feature complex aerospace metal and auto parts, delicate jewellery and necklaces, adornments with intricate patterns and historical relics.

Asiamold is organised by Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt in cooperation with formnext and Intermold Japan. formnext is Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH’s international exhibition and conference on additive technologies and tool making. The inaugural show will be held from 17 – 20 November 2015 in Hall 3.1 of the Frankfurt exhibition grounds. The next edition of Intermold Japan will be held from 20 – 23 April 2016 at INTEX Osaka.
