From November 17 to 20, 2015, the new exhibition formnext powered by tct will debut in Frankfurt and showcases the range of additive technologies and the latest procedures in the process chain from a product idea through to its industrial production. formnext will be organized by Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH, a subsidiary of Messe Frankfurt.
"Production today faces many challenges in terms of energy efficiency, material and weight saving, customization of products, and global production rollouts. formnext shows how these challenges can be overcome as early as in the product development phase," says Sascha Wenzler, division manager for formnext at Mesago. As of 2015, formnext will therefore provide mainly production managers and technical procurement managers in the manufacturing industry of almost all sectors with valuable information on how their production can effectively compete at a national and international level. formnext also appeals to product developers and designers.
"Additive technologies, in particular, present tremendous opportunities for the industry both for product development and production. So we are delighted to be able to give visitors a particularly comprehensive and valuable offering with this specialized exhibition. The internationally renowned companies in the field of additive technologies will showcase their expertise at formnext," comments Sascha Wenzler. Additional topics at the exhibition will be, for example, tool and form-making, machine tools/automation, basic materials/components, and measuring technology/quality assurance.
Parallel to the fair the conference of formnext powered by tct will take place in the same hall. The focus here will also be on additive technologies, with renowned international experts presenting and examining innovative procedures along the product development process chain. The content for the conference will be prepared by Rapid News Publications, which is very well connected in the additive technologies industry and is the company behind the tct + Personalize brand. formnext will take place in the state-of-the-art Hall 3 of the internationally renowned exhibition center in Frankfurt.
