India Pavilion and Pakistan Zone feature over 80 exhibitors

Yarn Expo Autumn 2015 opens next week alongside Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, as both fairs mark new milestones for exhibitor numbers and exhibition space. Held at the brand-new National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) in hall 4.1 from 13 – 15 October, Yarn Expo Autumn will feature over 250 exhibitors from 11 countries and regions, a more than 87% increase compared to 2014. The exhibition space also expands by the same amount to 8,500 sqm.
The fair will showcase a wide spectrum of natural and blended yarns including cotton, wool, flax / regenerated flax, and man-made fibres and yarns as well as specialty products including elastic, and fancy and blended yarns.

Amongst the more than 250 suppliers taking part are over 100 from outside of Mainland China including from Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Korea, Pakistan, Singapore, Switzerland, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. The largest contingent is from India which has its own pavilion of 66 cotton yarn and fibre suppliers. Some of the big players participating here include GTN Group, Gujrat Ambuja, Kikani Exports, Lahoti Overseas, Loyal Textil Mills Ltd, NSL Textile Ltd, Premier Mills Pvt Ltd, Sangam (India) Ltd, Sutlej Textiles & Industries Ltd, T T Ltd, and Winsome Textile Industries Ltd. Another highlight of the fair will be the Pakistan Zone which features 18 exhibitors showcasing their 100% cotton yarn, mélange and bamboo cotton for weaving and knitting.
Around 150 domestic suppliers will also take part covering a wide range of products. Synthetic fibres exhibitors will feature in three special zones: the Advanced Cottony Polyester Fibre Zone showcasing imitation cotton suppliers with products for sportswear, overalls and denim outfits; the Renewable & Recycling Zone will feature a range of renewable & recycling fibre products ranging from raw materials to finished goods; and the Functional Fibre Zone targets this fast-growing segment in China and globally with a range of polyester, nylon, biochemical fibres, spandex, polypropylene fibres, acrylic fibres and more.

Messe Frankfurt’s textile fairs around the world are known for their comprehensive fringe programmes, and Yarn Expo Autumn is no exception. This year’s seminar programme includes nine sessions which will discuss applications and developments of new functional fibre materials and associating popular trends, and are delivered by representatives from leading enterprises in the industry and educational institutions.
A Trend Forum also provides the latest information on fibre trends, and is organised by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China, the China Chemical Fiber Association, Donghua University and the China Textile and Chemical Fiber Product Development Centre. With a theme of Innovation & Integration, the trends will be elaborated on in four sections: Fiber Technology, Fiber Life, Fiber Ecology and Fiber Defense.
Buyers and exhibitors can also benefit from four other textile events taking place concurrently with Yarn Expo Autumn: Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition 2015, PH Value 2015, China International Fashion Fair 2015 (CHIC) and the Planet Textiles conference on sustainability which is held on 14 October.
