Singapore, 30 November, 2012 – Singapore Telecommunications Ltd (SingTel) today announced the launch of three new channels on mio TV. Thrill (mio TV Channel 415), Thrill On Demand (mio TV Channel 416) and KIX HD On Demand (mio TV Channel 308) will be available to subscribers from 1 December.

Thrill is Asia’s first and only 24-hour movie channel dedicated to the popular horror, suspense and thriller genres. From monster movies to J-horror, heart-stopping Hollywood chills to suspenseful TV series, there is something to satisfy every fan of the genre.
Viewers can also catch their favourite shows from Hollywood and Asia anytime on demand. All programmes on Thrill will be available to subscribers anytime on Thrill On Demand (mio TV Channel 416).
In December, Thrill will feature the first and exclusive premiere of the miniseries ‘Bag of Bones’. Based on the bestselling novel by Stephen King and starring Pierce Brosnan (007 Die Another Day), ‘Bag of Bones’ is a ghost story of grief and lost love, about an innocent child caught in a terrible crossfire and a new love haunted by past secrets. The miniseries also stars Annabeth Gish (Brotherhood), Melissa George (In Treatment) and Caitlin Carmichael (True Blood). ‘Bag of Bones’ premieres December 22 at 9:00pm.
Horror and thriller fans can also ring in the New Year with Thrill’s 24-hour movie marathon of some of the most terrifying and scream-worthy films from Hollywood and Asia. Movies featured include ‘Hannibal’, ‘I Still Know What You Did Last Summer’, ‘Final Destination’, ‘Ring 0 Birthday’, ‘Ju-On: The Grudge’, and ‘A Tale of Two Sisters’. The New Year Scare Fest marathon starts December 31 at 9:00pm.
KIX HD On Demand
mio TV will also add KIX HD On Demand (mio TV Channel 308) to its array of action programming. The channel is the on-demand version of the current mio TV channel KIX HD.
One show not to be missed is ‘Top Gear Korea’. Former professional race car driver Kim Jin-Pyo, car and bike enthusiast Kim Kap-Soo, and celebrity racing circuit member Yeon Jung-Hoon are the hosts of this Korean version of the famous and widely popular BBC series. How to subscribe
mio TV customers can now enjoy KIX HD and KIX HD On Demand together with other exciting channels like National Geographic Channel HD, FOX HD and mio Stadium for just $26.90 per month with the Family+ pack.
Thrill and Thrill On Demand are available on the Movie Pack. Existing customers with Movie Pack, Movie Combo or Premium Packs can enjoy these channels at no additional cost. Movie Pack and Movie Combo Packs are available for subscription from $16.90 per month.
From 1 to 31 December, customers will be able to enjoy the free preview of Thrill (mio TV Channel 415) at no additional cost.
