New Exhibit: InnoVEX - ICT & IoT Platform for Startups
IoT related applications and products are more than just popular. Out of 1,700 exhibitors, there were more than 700 companies targeting this field of application at COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2015. The show is in transition with a new position on Building Partnerships in Internet Computing Ecosystems and with focuses on IoT applications, innovative startups and business solutions. Taiwan government will invest 80 million USD in foreign and domestic startups through four leading VC funds including 500 Startups, Appworks, 360ip and Industrial Technology Investment Corp. Taiwan government has authorized the equity crowdfunding since May, 2015. The on line platform will be operated by local broker firms.

Taiwan has complete supply chain in ICT sectors and strong capability for IoT applications. There are 47 hi-tech Taiwanese companies listed in Forbes 500. Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited (DTTL) recently released the results of its 13th annual ranking of Asia Pacific’s 500 fastest growing technology companies; out of 128 countries, Taiwan recorded 90 companies in the ranking.

Taiwan Startups Accelerators Program was launched to help startups build international connections. TMI, Taiwan Startup Stadium, HWTrek , AppWorks are well known accelerators in Taiwan.

InnoVEX @ COMPUTEX 2016 is designed as a “startup village” to be held in Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) Exhibition Hall 3 from May 31-June 2, 2016.
