Due to a slump of oil price, recession of global economy and excess supply of ocean and air freight, T3EX group had seen a plummeting rate of freight and less than satisfactory sales performance in 2015. Still the cavassion slightly grew than the year before.
The point is, a good logistics provider tends to help industry clients lower cost and achieve effective transportation under gloomy economic circumstances. With a wide range of lines of products and market regions, T3EX has been able to integrate resources and develop a high value-added business, thus entering a bidding war internationally and starting an LCL service for the trans-Pacific trade so as to increase freight volume and reduce purchasing costs. To our delightful surprise, the group's gross profit reached a new high amid this bleak period.
With an operating model featured with export business in Asia, T3EX had these transactions quoted at dollar-denominated price and earned exchange gains through RMB deprecation in the second half of 2015. Thus T3EX reaped a profit at an all-time record last year.
A. To establish a cooperative relationship with multi-national corporations in the diversified market:
This is a crucial year in promoting integration of regional economies as a good number of pacts and agreements were finalized last year, including AEC, RCEP, and TPP-the last of which covers 40% of the global economic activities. As this leads to a free trade globally when tariffs and other nontariff trade barriers of tens of thousands of products were waivered, it is the Asian countries that benefit most from this integration and will see a thriving regional commerce in the coming years.
As international logistics has been the core business of T3EX, we will build a holistic system of cross-border distribution, to provide product management and organization service for clients, and to establish a tracking mechanism via cloud computing technologies. Regarding the existing and potential multinational clients, T3EX has nearly 100 offices in China and across Asian countries and is putting forth efforts in providing "total logistics services" solution that binds and accelerates exportation and importation businesses. Meanwhile, T3EX continually seeks strategic partners in China and employs market strategies in Malaysia, the Philippines, Myanmar and India in hopes that a complete Asian network will be very soon established.
Upon investing in T-Cube Logistics (B2B warehousing and delivery) and EXer Logstics (a B2C e-commerce home-delivery), T3EX is ambitious enough to constrct an even more complete network of warehousing and distribution in mainland China. With respect to warehousing, we are currently developing bonded warehouses for storage of imported commodities and e-commerce logistics centers. Concerning delivery, we aim to incorporate B2B transport lines with B2C home-delivery express service as a way to provide a horizonally "total logistics services" solution in China while constructing a vetically incorporated channel of warehousing and delivery services.
Last year, China announced the "One Belt One Road" policy, setting a large-scale infrastructure plan in motion. It is expected that the infrastructure, the railway, airplane, harbor, electricity and telecommunication included, will be bringing in positive effects on logistics industry. Surely enough T3EX has already organized an internal Eurasia Railway sales team for this unprecedentedly wonderful opportunity.
