Special thematic zones and comprehensive exhibit profile highlight all sectors of the water conservation industry

HONG KONG --(ASIA TODAY)-- Water Expo China will return once again to Beijing’s New China International Exhibition Center from 15 – 17 November 2016. The three-day event, approved by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and supported by the Ministry of Water Resources of the People’s Republic of China, is jointly organised by Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd and the Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society. It is expected to draw 350 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions and attract 25,000 professional visitors from 44 countries and regions as well as 60 local and overseas buying delegations.

As a reputable industry trade event, the 2016 fair has been receiving overwhelming response for participation from leading brands and related trade associations. Among a list of new and returning exhibitors, the German Bavarian Pavilion has confirmed to participate again. The pavilion is led by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology, Bayern International – Bavarian Bureau for International Business Relations, and the BIHK-Association of the Bavarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Water conservation closely adheres to the five essential development concepts highlighted in China’s 13th Five-Year Plan, and remains the top priority in the country’s eight national infrastructure development plans. It is expected that the total investment volume in the water sector will exceed RMB 2 trillion (approximately USD 307 billion) by 2020.

The goals set out by the Chinese government include:
- Strengthening flood control infrastructure and drought relief systems
- Increasing water resources utilisation efficiency and effectiveness
- Boosting urban and rural water safety and security levels
- Upgrading water infrastructure conditions in rural areas
- Enhancing the protection and conservation of water ecology

With the organisers’ respective advantages and extensive business networks in the water and exhibition industries, the following product categories will be featured at the 2016 show to address trending topics and changes in China’s water conservation market.
