COMPUTEX, the largest global ICT show in Asia, will feature the latest innovative technologies comprising the Internet of Things (IoT) and other smart applications at its new SmarTEX exhibit.
SmarTEX—along with InnoVEX for startups and iStyle on Apple MFi certificated products —is one of COMPUTEX’s three new exhibition areas for 2016, created to reflect current ICT industry trends in smart IoT applications, innovation in IoT, and IoT solutions for business. At SmarTEX, attendees will find solutions in a wide variety of information and communications technology (ICT) categories, including the latest and most advanced IoT applications available in security, smart home and entertainment, 3D printing, wearables, and automotive electronics.
“The Internet of Things is one of the fastest growing market with a high potential, and SmarTEX provides a unique opportunity for global business leaders to discover the latest innovations in IoT, build new partnerships, and recognize their ideal positioning in the IoT ecosystem,” said Walter Yeh, executive vice president of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the organizer of COMPUTEX.
As the Ministry of Future Planning and Science recently announced to actively support and invest IoT companies with the budget of KRW 1.14 billion, designating IoT as a major force of nations’ future growth, for those Korean companies who have high interests in building IoT products, developing related service and commercializing them above, are expected to find various business opportunities at SmarTEX, this newly established exhibit area at COMPUTEX 2016. Approximately 160 exhibitors involved in designing, developing and delivering IoT solutions from worldwide have participated in SmarTEX this year. From Korea, Quopin which possesses the original technology on network processor participates is one of them.
SmarTEX at COMPUTEX will take place in Taipei World Trade Center, Exhibition Hall 1 . Exhibitors will include a broad spectrum of international suppliers, distributors, system integrators, and manufacturing companies.
