Guangzhou -- (ASIA TODAY) -- Wire & Cable Guangzhou will open its doors from 6 – 8 June 2016 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. Organised by China Southern Power Grid Media Co Ltd, Guangzhou BoYou Exhibition Service Co Ltd and Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd, the fair serves as an important meeting place for industry specialists in South China. The 2016 edition expects to welcome 350 exhibitors and over 25,000 professional buyers, and will occupy 30,000 sqm of exhibition space.
To facilitate sourcing, the exhibition will be divided into two halls – one for equipment and the other for wires, cables and materials. Located in Hall 9.1, the Equipment Hall will feature the latest manufacturing and finishing machinery as well as testing instruments for wires and cables. The Wire, Cable and Materials Hall, located in Hall 10.1, will provide a comprehensive display of high-, medium- and low-voltage cables, weakcurrent wires and cables, optical fibre cables, related materials and accessories.

The Wire and Cable Asia Forum will debut at the 2016 fair on 6 June. The two-day conference is jointly organised by the show’s organisers and the Guangdong Province Wire and Cable Industry Association, with co-organisation by the Wire and Cable Institute. The forum is supported by China Quality Certification Center (CQC), Guangdong Nanyang Cable Group Co Ltd, Guangdong Shine Cables Co Ltd, Harting Technology Group, the Optical and Electronic Cable Association of China, UL and VDE, the Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies. Speakers from the wire and cable, automotive and power grid industries will be invited to share their insights on various topics. Some of the highlighted subjects include:
