BEWG signed an agreement of acquiring two sewage treatment projects in Shandong Province

(Hong Kong, 10 December 2012) BEWG has formally signed an agreement with Shandong Deli Environment Engineering Co., Ltd. to acquire 100% equity of Haiyang Binhai Water Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shandong Deli Environment Engineering Co., Ltd, and will also set up a joint venture company with Shandong Deli Environment Engineering Co., Ltd. to acquire the concession of Penglai Chaoshui sewage treatment plant.

Haiyang Binhai Water Co., Ltd. is the project company of Haiyang Lingang sewage treatment project. Haiyang Lingang sewage treatment plant project adopts BOT model, and its design capacity is 20,000 tons per day, as well as its concession period is 30 years (calculated from the commencement date of its commercial operation).

Penglai Chaoshui sewage treatment plant project adopts TOT models, and its design capacity is 10,000 tons per day, as well as its concession period is 40 years calculated from the commencement date of its commercial operation, i.e. January 1, 2013 as stated in its original TOT agreement.
