Informative trend seminars help the industry to gain insight
More than 200 exhibitors from 16 countries and regions are expected to attend the Hong Kong International Stationery Fair to be held at Hall 5B of the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from 7 – 10 January 2013.
Organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the show’s 13th edition is the first major trade event for the stationery and office supplies industry in 2013. During the show, exhibitors will display a wide range of products from artist supplies, children’s stationery & school supplies, office supplies, gift stationery, paper & printing products, writing equipment, and computer peripherals & related accessories.
Exhibitors from Chinese mainland, Korea, Taiwan and Thailand will form national pavilions to display their unique products. The Taiwanese pavilion is organised by the Taiwan Association of Stationery Industries (TASI) and its pavilion design theme will be “delicate and unique”. Commenting on the Hong Kong International Stationery Fair, Mr. Donald Mai, Executive Secretary of TASI said: “The show has become an important event for the stationery and office supplies industry, and is a platform with enormous business opportunities as it attracts exhibitors and visitors from all parts of the world.”
Informative trend seminars help the industry to gain insight
A number of seminars will be held during the show to equip industry attendees with the latest market and colour trends.
The “Stationery Trends and Market Opportunities in Europe and US” seminar will reveal the latest industry standards and buying trend in both markets. This will assist the audience in formulating their business strategies. The speaker will be Mr. Ryan Farber, Group Managing Director of RMS International PLC, a multi-national trading company with a turnover of over US$40 million.
Another seminar “Stationery Product & Colour Trends in 2013” will present the colour trends for 2013. The speaker will be Ms Maryann Wong, Director of Sales & Marketing for Fashion & Home of Pantone, an internationally renowned authority on colour.
An additional show highlight will be the 4th Hong Kong Stationery Award, which will honour original, creative and practical product designs. Trade visitors can vote for the most popular product during the fair period from 7 – 8 January 2013 at the Award Display Area in Hall 1D Concourse.
The Hong Kong International Stationery Fair will be held concurrently with the HKTDC Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, HKTDC Hong Kong Baby Fair and the HKTDC Hong Kong International Licensing Show. For further information about the show, please visit www.hkstationeryfair.com
