Kuala Lumpur & London - International consulting firm BroadGroup, together with the Malaysian Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) which directs and oversees Malaysia’s National ICT (Information & Communication Technology) Initiative will host the 2nd international summit for datacenters (www.datacentresmalaysia.com ) The event, which will take place in Kuala Lumpur 16-17 January 2013, will feature key international experts as well as the leadership of local and regional operators and service providers.
The organizers have announced an outstanding panel of international speakers including Christian Belady, General Manager Data Center Services in Microsoft’s Global Foundation Services (GFS) group and responsible for driving the strategy and delivery of server and facility development worldwide; Mark Monroe, CTO & Vice President of consulting engineers DLB Associates (and former ceo of The Green Grid); Dr Bob Sullivan, the father of hot-aisle/cold-aisle design, one of the fundamental best practices in the datacenter and Mark Thiele, EVP Data CenterTech Switch Nap, whose facilities include the SuperNAP in the Las Vegas desert, the highest-density datacenter ever built and among the ten largest single-standing facilities in the world.
