
BANGKOK, January 7, 2013 - (ASIA TODAY) - The second annual edition of Pool & SpaTech Asia exhibition was successfully staged at Hall 5, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Bangkok, Thailand from 19 - 21 September 2012.
The exhibition aimed at serving those directly involved in the planning, design, build, operation, maintenance and management of pool and spa facilities, attracted over 2,500 trade visitors from 30 countries. Over 50% of these trade visitors are senior management and owners, coming from sectors ranging from architecture and building design, hotels and resorts, real estate, leisure and water parks, facility management, master planner to urban authority and municipality.
Ms. Janthra Chumdawong, an architect with The Pool House company described “We have seen many benefits to our company’s business at Pool & Spa Tech 2012. We have had good business discussions with swimming pool builders and suppliers of pool cleaning machines and playground equipment.”
96% of the 36 exhibiting companies are pleased with the results of their participation with over 64% acknowledging that the exhibition serves as an effective marketing platform to reach out to new customers.
Ms. Rassarin Kamonkornvoraset from Pentair Thailand Ltd. says “The exhibition provide us with an opportunity to showcase our new products to our existing and potential customers.”
Another exhibitor, Ms Wilasinee Vongnarkpetch from Inter Water Treatment Co., Ltd. commented “Exhibiting in Pool & Spa Tech Asia provides us with more exposure of our company and products, especially to the international trade visitors.”
Pool & Spa Tech Asia 2012 also featured a special area for pool and spa related landscaping that showcased concept and design, equipment and products and new innovative solutions.
Running alongside the exhibition was a two-day National Swimming Pool Foundation Certified Pool Operator course (NSPF CPO). The course was well attended by participants from Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore.
According to Mr. Loy Joon How, General Manager of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., the organiser of Pool & Spa Tech Asia, there will be more workshop and conference contents in the next edition. “An advisory committee comprising key industry players is being formed to help produce the program and I am confident that Pool & SpaTech Asia 2013 will deliver even better values for our exhibitors, trade visitors and delegates.” he said.
The next edition of Pool & SpaTech Asia will take place again in Bangkok, Thailand from 19 - 21 September 2013.
