BEWG formally signed the second sewage treatment plant of Anning City BOT project agreement

(Hong Kong, 18 October 2012) BEWG has formally signed the second sewage treatment plant of Anning City BOT project agreement with the People’s Government of Anning City, in Yunnan Province. The design capacity of the second sewage treatment plant of Anning city is 60,000 tons per day and the supply capacity of reclaimed water is 60,000 tons per day. The project is divided into two phases of construction, in which the processing capacity of sewage treatment plant is 30,000 tons per day and the supply capacity of reclaimed water is 30,000 tons per day. Phase I also includes the sludge disposal treatment of 50 tons per day, the sewage collection pipe network of 21.641 kilometers in total length, and the reclaimed water pipe network of 24.151 kilometers in total length.

The concession period of Phase I is 30 years (excluding the construction period), calculated from the commencement date of its commercial operation.

When the sewage water inflow reached the scale of 80% of the design capacity of sewage water treatment of Phase I, the parties to the contract will negotiate the launch of Phase II.
