Jan. 23, 2013 (China Knowledge) - Royal Dutch Shell Plc, the largest oil company in Europe, has said its largest grease manufacturing plant puts into operation in China, sources reported.
Located in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, the plant has an annual output capacity of 30,000 metric tons, and it might be enlarged to 40,000 metric tons in future.
Mark Gainsborough, Executive Vice President of Shell Global Commercial, said that part of the products will be used for high speed railway, aviation and racing cars.
The set-up of Shell's largest grease factory in China will make the company more close to Chinese consumers, said Huibert Vigeveno, executive chairman of Shell companies in China.
At present, Royal Dutch Shell had 18 grease manufacturing plants including 10 in Asia.
