This event attracts top-notch manufacturers from across the FMCG, automotive, garment, industrial, packaging, pharmaceuticals industry players plus key officials from DICA, MIC & various Ministries.
An influx of FDI especially in manufacturing sectors, growing consumer base & low cost workforce has drawn investors seeking to establish a foothold in Myanmar. To prepare manufacturers for the challenges & potential in this frontier market, this premier event, to debut next month, aptly deliberates on ‘Transforming Myanmar into the next manufacturing powerhouse!’
His Excellency U. Maung Myint, Union Minister, Ministry of Industry, Myanmar will inaugurate the Summit with an Opening Keynote Address and set the floor open for key stakeholders to share their perspectives and experiences in riding the Myanmar’s manufacturing boom.
Top of the list is Prof. Dr. Aung Tun Thet, Economic Advisor, President's Office, Myanmar and President's National Economic and Social Advisory Council Member & Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC) Member who shares a comprehensive overview of ‘Promoting an Investor Friendly Environment in Myanmar'. Meanwhile the ‘Development & Progress of Thilawa Special Economic Zone’ will be explored by Winston Set Aung, Deputy Governor, Central Bank of Myanmar, Chairman, Thilawa Special Economic Zone Management Committee.
