The Sensor and Measurement Pavilion returns to the 2015 show

The support SPS – Industrial Automation Fair Guangzhou receives from industry associations continues to be one of the key factors in the show’s success. Each year, domestic and overseas associations provide integral guidance and invaluable assistance towards the fair’s exhibitor and visitor recruitment, fringe programme development, and national and regional pavilion organisation. Industry associations not only provide market insight, but also connect the fair with their member firms to broaden business reach into China.

The Sensor and Measurement Pavilion, managed by the AMA Association for Sensor Technology from Germany, has confirmed its participation in 2015. The Pavilion will display technological advancements in sensor and measurement technology to the Chinese market. A number of prestigious companies, including Hanyoungnux, Contrinex, Koino, EMA, Hummel, Ifm electronic, Kistler, Lanbao, Rontronic, MTS, SICK, and Autonics will be present.

China continues to see strong demand for industrial robots and related products

China is regarded as one of the world’s largest manufacturing powerhouses. With shortage of labour, tightening budgets and increasing demand for high-precision and quality products, one of the country’s main government-supported manufacturing focuses is to implement automated robots into various production lines. Currently in the Pearl River Delta region, automated industrial robotics is particularly strong and growing at an annual rate of 30%. Additionally, the development for intelligent industrial automated machinery is also a key area of development. By the end of 2020, at least two additional industrial robotics manufacturing facilities will be completed in the region.

According to a report from the International Federation of Robotics (IFR), sales of industrial robots in China are expected to grow exponentially in the coming years. Over 50,000 units are forecasted to be sold in 2014. From 2015 to 2017, the country’s overall robotics industry will increase at least 25% annually, to about 100,000 units in 2017. By the end of 2017, over 400,000 industrial robots are estimated to be installed in China alone. These numbers are made possible due to constant demand for high-precision and high-quality industrial robots, as well as robot control systems. These solutions increase productivity and global competitiveness for various industry sectors including the automotive, electrical and electronics manufacturing industries. While the domestic demand for industrial robots remains strong, the opportunities for international companies to grow their business in China are also high. For brands looking to tap the Chinese market, SPS – Industrial Automation Fair Guangzhou is a top choice for meeting qualified target buyers.

SPS – Industrial Automation Fair Guangzhou is sponsored and organised by Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd and the China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Exhibition General Corporation. It is also organised by Guangzhou Overseas Trade Fairs Ltd and Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH. Honorary sponsors are the Guangdong Automation Association, Guangzhou Automation Association and Guangzhou Institute of Scientific Instrument.
